Ok, this is a very entitled and unfair review, which I will address point by point:
- you gave me an ETA, and then happened to arrive way earlier than scheduled. Someone was there to greet you at the time we had agreed, and what you call "a woman who was not the host came and let us in", it's actually a trustworthy person who greeted you cordially, offered gifts and showed you the way around just like I would have , because I don't live in this house, as it is a summer home. I live 300km away and cannot make it always in person to be there myself.
- you say that bathrooms and kitchens were not clean and rusty. First of all, they are all made of marble, which doesn't rust. And secondly, I have specified since the beginning that if something was not according to expected, you should reach out. Now it's too late, but I could have made something. I hire a service to take care of the house after each group is gone, so I would have demanded immediate correction of any failures.
- the coffee machine does work and has instructions pasted to the side. Again, you could reach out and I would have explained it, but now it is too late. Anyway, there is also a moka available, which could be used anytime.
- Outside areas being dirty, there's not much that can be done about that, unless someone comes and scoops the leaves that constantly fly out there. You have seen how much nature there is around the house. Regarding broken chairs, I don't know what you mean by that, since my brother was using the house just days before you checked in, and he didn't see any of that. But again, it's something you could have said.
Overall, I'm glad you enjoyed the house and the time you had there, despite your severe critics. But bear in mind that, as a client, if you want a better service, you need to let your host know what is wrong while it is happening. Taking the negativity to the comment box just seems like retaliation and there's nothing I can do about it at that point.
