The space

Architect David Rinehart Anthony, designed Everhope to be Big, Bold & Beautiful. A (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Gazette article stated “The simplistic yet, graceful lines of Everhope make it one of the most beautiful plantation homes in Alabama". Everhope is on the State of Alabama & National Register of Historic Places (Department of Interior).

Everhope Plantation is located in Eutaw, Alabama, approx. 35 minutes from Tuscaloosa, which houses The University of Alabama.

Access to the grounds and a piece of American History!
Everhope's acreage is cross-fenced with a 50+ tree peach orchard, grape orchard, pecan, fig, persimmon, pear, pine, oak, cedar, magnolia trees and other greenery.

Just like the 1850's we choose to be without TV & wi-fi (internet accessible for those with mobile devices offering connectivity plans & or wi-fi card/device). Evenings have been known to go late into the night on the 8 chair “rocking" porch. Cookouts and bon fires can be enabled... Even rock star videos can be enabled ;) ! If you desire one of a kind, this is your place.

As much or as little as desired...a chef can be arranged as requested. On sold out Alabama football weekends a chef serves breakfast including made to order eggs, grits & biscuits!

Eutaw is one of few places in the South with a large number of its original antebellum homes. Its unique location, being almost surrounded by three rivers, saved it from destruction by the Union armies during the War Between the States.
Eutaw is a town known for it's architecture with 27 antebellum structures on the National Register of Historic Places & 60+ that qualify. Everhope is on the State of Alabama & National Registry of Historic Places.

Bordered by rivers with a solid agriculture base has helped gain Greene County a national reputation for some of the best hunting & fishing in the Southeast USA. We welcome hunters to lodge at Everhope.

Therapeutic grounds & parking for 100+ cars. An ideal party & wedding location.
A charming town of approximate 1,800 people and close to the campus of Roll Tide Roll !

The entire home can be rented for privacy.

Beautiful home with much history. Barden treated every guest with the fullest respect. Would recommend to anyone coming for Bama games and to those who just want to get away and relax.

If you are headed to the University of Alabama for a game or an orientation or parents weekend please consider this as your best option! Our daughter is a new student at BAMA and this is a great getaway while we are in town. It's quiet and beautiful and a treasure. They now have TV so you won't miss a game!

Barden was incredibly friendly and engaged despite being unable to greet is in person. He communicated everything we needed to know and facilitated a relaxing stay at a beautiful home. Will definitely consider booking again if we are in the area again.

This was a great experience staying at Everhope plantation. The room was huge and the bathroom nice. Barden was great and let us stay even though he wasn't home. I would highly recommend staying at Everhope!
