Beautiful former fisherman's cottage in the heart of the charming seaside town of Whitstable, Kent. Lovingly restored to it's former glory and full of original features. Well proportioned yet cozy accommodation with open-plan dining. Sunny garden!

The space

Beautiful cottage in quiet residential street, yet we are very convenient for all the town's bars, restaurants and boutique shopping. Once you've arrived you just leave your car and forget it as all amenities are all very close by. The Harbour and beach are just 10 minutes walk from your front door!
On-street parking is just outside the cottage.

Stayed here when travelling to Whitstable with work. It was the perfect location as close to the motorway, train station and seaside. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The place was very nice. Very close to the town centre and the waterfront. The complimentary breakfast cereal was very well received.

Peter's place was perfect for us, with two small children, as it was close to the beach and shops. It was well equipped and on a nice residential street. Peter always replied immediately which was very reassuring. I'd happily recommend the house. R

This is exactly as described - a cosy Victoria cottage, but was spacious enough for 4 adults. The place was spotless and felt really fresh. 'Checking in' was a doddle and the position was perfect for us, being only a minutes walk from the main high street and access to the seafront. The only difficulty we could have had (but got lucky with a big space) was parking in the road, as the narrow road allows cars to park both cars which means there is a very narrow thoroughfare and would be a challenge for bigger cars to parallel park. That said, it was a minor thing (you could just park in another road) and we would definitely return!

Response from Peter:
Many thanks for your kind review, very positive indeed. I can assure you we work very hard to look after all the details, ensuring the cottage is spotlessly clean. I am afraid parking in Whitstable town centre is never easy, but I feel that our street does offer more parking options than most other roads in the immediate vicinity.

Basic holiday cottage which could be lovely but has been let down by ill-considered approach to cleaning and maintenance.
