Just steps from the Gateway to Saint Pierre et Miquelon, this apartment is 1 of 3 apartments in this large home built in 1932ish. The covered front porch will allow you to sit comfortably on those warm evenings and enjoy a view of our lovely town and Fortune Bay. Easy to find and located within walking distance to the business area, SPM Ferry, walking trails and the Wade Drake, Burch Nash Memorial Family Park. Fortune is a great base, to explore what the Burin Peninsula offers.

Collins’ Clover Farm is our Community grocery store and also houses an NL Express Liquor and bakery, Doc’s Diner, Mary Brown’s and Pizza Twice all offer great food. Don’t wait too late though. These are all within walking distance of the apartment. There is a local bar Chrissy’s Place if you want to go for a drink and hang out with some locals. Fortune is The World Geological location chosen for the Pre-Cambrian and Cambrian timeline, there is an interpretation Centre located on the wharf and a lovely walking trail to the reserve or by a short tour van ride from the centre. Just a short walk you will find Historic Fishing Stages built hundreds of years ago and still being used by fisherman today.
