This is definitely the best b&b I stayed during my New Zealand trip. Carmel's so kind to us and try to figure out any possible way to help us when we stay there. And the house is really beautiful and comfortable with great mountain view. We are so sad we have to leave earlier cus the road still didn't been fixed from the earthquake and we have a plane to catch. Otherwise we could enjoy more time with Carmel and beautiful kaikoura. but we still have a great talk during breakfast with Carmel and it's really a great stay! Definitly will stay with Carmel again if I come to kaikoura.

The room was very comfortable and Carmel was attentive and friendly. It was great to be able to chat with her over breakfast, and she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Carmel is a delightful hostess with a self contained double bedroom and ensuite that is immaculate. Large sunny room and lovely breakfast served by Carmel with much local knowledge that was really appreciated

Carmel is the perfect host. Her home is very convenient but quiet with a great view of the mountains. The room is very comfortable but the bathroom is very small but clean and adequate. Breakfasts are simple, not cooked but lots of good fruit for cereal and good toast. She's helpful and fun to talk with but respects your privacy. Highly recommend.

The house and the room are beautiful and spacious. Everything is clean and tidy. The view is amazing. the breakfast is good too, with fresh fruits, yogurt, juice, bred and jams. Carmel is a very nice person, she is happy to share with her guests and very helpfull. We were lucky to find her and her beautiful house. Thank you.

The house is located not far from the town center. I drove my car to go to the town center, but you can go there on foot. The room is very clean and cosy. The host is friendly and attentive. You can talk with her about many things on having a breakfast.

A nice and comfortable bnb with privacy in the room with a deck just outside the door and nice chats with Carmel at breakfast. She gave us lots of local information and her personal earthquake experiences. Meeting Carmel was like getting a sweet and caring grandmother back.
