The Hayloft is situated at Downley Farmhouse in Downley, Buckinghamshire - half way between London and Oxford, close to Marlow and Henley-on-Thames.

Downley is a small village set around a common with a friendly local pub, The Le De Spencer Arms, which serves good food.

The village has all the necessary local amenities and is within easy reach of all major communication networks and local attractions.

The space
The Hayloft is first floor self-contained accommodation accessed by a private external staircase. It has recently been redecorated and furnished to provide a comfortable and cosy environment. The open plan accommodation offers a kitchen area with breakfast bar and bar stools. The kitchen is fitted with a combination microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided.
The open plan living area has a two seater sofa complete with comfy cushions and throw. There is a smart HD 40" TV with Netflix and BBC iplayer available. Radio and CD player.
King size bed with duvet and plenty of pillows.
Shower room with pedestal basin and w.c. White fluffy towels and toiletries provided.
Cot and High chair available on request.
The owner's horses are stabled a short distance from the staircase and there are free range chickens and ducks roaming in the gardens. Fresh eggs always available!

Parking is on our large private driveway outside the property.
The key to the property will be located in a key safe full details available on booking.

Downley is a village in the Wycombe district of Buckinghamshire, England. It is high in the Chiltern Hills, overlooking the town of High Wycombe.
The central part is the common, this extends over about 56 acres (23 ha). It is part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The oldest pub in Downley is The Le De (not Lady) Spencers Arms at the very top of the common (within walking distance). It's known to the locals as the Lee Dee, The Shed or the Top Pub. The building dates from the 17th century and was once a bakery. It is believed to have been a watering hole for drovers who passed through from Wales on their way to London. They serve local beers and good food.
Centrally in the village there is a village shop, a hairdressers and two convenience stores, a laundrette and take aways all within easy reach.
