The studio is in a classic 1890 Brownstone. It's located on a tree-lined block in historic Harlem. The apartment is private, with its own kitchen and bathroom. Located close to the Apollo theater, Columbia University, shopping, restaurants and bars.
We are a couple of blocks from both the ABCD and 2,3 subway stations, (6 mins to midtown). The M60 bus is 2 blocks away and goes to Laguardia Airport. The M2 bus which goes down 5th ave to many museums.

The space is oozing with original detail from 1890. Ornate fire place and mantle, 2 giant windows overlook the tree lined block with built in wood shutters. It has a comfy queen sized bed and a convertible couch. We also have a queen size air mattress. The walls are covered with fine art. The kitchen has service for 4. There is stove/oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. The bathroom has a tub/shower, unlimited hot water and cozy bath sheet towels.
We provide coffee, tea and WiFi.
Guest receive 2 sets of keys to building and apartment. It is a private apartment.
Please take care of the keys. (Guests will be charged $20 for each set of lost keys.
Interaction with guests
We live and work in the building and are available when needed. As a native New Yorker and a 13 year Harlem resident, we are happy to answer questions about Harlem and NYC.

Loni is a curator, editor, archivist and software designer. She has worked with top artists and photographers for over 25 years. Loni creates database solutions to archive organize and monetize photographers' collections. As an avid collector of photography this has became more of a passion and now we have a small art gallery and advisory. The gallery is in the family brownstone. She loves to organize us all and build database systems in Filemaker Pro.
Russ runs our Airbnb. He answers your correspondence and takes care of our apartments. Russ has been at Utube University this year and is now a farmer and organic gardener. His work is growing all over our backyard. Russ meets the kids after school and helps with homework. And he does the lighting for the gallery, he's the in house framer and art handler too.
Russ previously had a career in finance as a CPA.
