We had a very pleasant stay at Irene's place while in Ashland. Irene's place was clean, the beds were very comfortable and it was within a 15-20 walk to downtown Ashland and the plays. There were previous comments about air conditioning so I will try to clarify since we recently stayed in August which may have very hot days (over 100 during our stay) but cool nights. There are two units as part of this rental, a larger unit (sleeps 2-6 people ) has working air conditioning and several fans and was comfortable at all times. The studio unit (sleeps 2) has large windows (fans but no aircon) that we opened at night to quickly cool the unit down and but kept closed during day. Even so, it did get warm and we had meals and daytime activities in the larger unit.

Great place for four of us women to stay for a long weekend. One big issue - despite the description, there is no AC! The upper loft bedroom was unbearable for sleeping (or anything else) once the temperature rose over 90.

Irenee was a great hostess when we stayed there. The place is conveniently located to Ashland downtown (~5-10 minute walk).

I booked this for a friend, so I haven't seen it myself, but from what I've heard, Irene's a great host and the place is very nice, quiet, peaceful and comfortable.

My family and I stayed at Irene's place for a week while we attended Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It is a beautiful place with a lovely shaded garden and deck with comfortable chairs. Even in the August heat, we were comfortable sitting outside in the evening. It is a very comfortable walk to downtown Ashland but the hills were a little steep for our 85 year old mother. The rest of us walked it several times a day with no problem. The beds are comfortable and the 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchen were very clean. And Irene brought us freshly picked organic peaches. I would definitely recommend Villa on the Green.
