Take refuge from city adventures in our comfy Mission apartment! Located just 2 blocks from BART and just a few minutes walk to the heart of the historic Mission district, it is ideally located to experience authentic San Francisco. Walking distance to SOMA, Moscone Center, The Castro and all the Mission has to offer.

Like most of San Francisco, there is a large but harmless population of homeless people in the Mission.

The space

We have a spare room in our great little apartment that we enjoy sharing. The room is a comfortable size with a king-sized bed. Both the bedroom and shared bathroom are located in the back of the apartment off the busy street, which lends itself well to privacy. Keep in mind, though, that you are in the heart of the lively Mission District, and so street noise is inevitable.

There is also another room we let out through Airbnb, so you may meet other Airbnb guests during your stay.

Please note that the apartment is a two-story walk-up, so you must be able to manage the stairs with your bags on your own.

Guest access

Guests have access to their bedroom, the shared bathroom, the shared kitchen, and the shared living room, To avoid any confusion, any rooms not accessible to our Airbnb guests will be labeled as such.

Interaction with guests

We travel quite a bit, but when we are around, we love to interact with our guests and learn about their lives and home cities, especially if they are from outside the United States. However, we respect those who wish to simply come and go without feeling the need to engage, and we reserve the right to do the same.

Other things to note

THE APARTMENT IS A SECOND-STORY WALK-UP. IF YOU CANNOT BRING YOUR BAGS UP THE STAIRS ON YOUR OWN, THIS MAY NOT BE THE PLACE FOR YOU.

HOMELESS:
Like most of San Francisco, there is a large but harmless population of homeless people in the Mission. The BART station at 16th St. and Mission is particularly colorful.

VERY STRICT NO SHOES POLICY!!!

PARKING is generally not too bad, though most of the parking in the immediate area is metered. Thursday through Saturday nights can be very difficult to find parking after 6 p.m. as the Mission fills up with weekend party-goers.

We spent 3 nights at Jaclyn's in San Fran. Her location is great, close to all the great sports in San Fran. They are a lot of of homeless people around the house but they are harmless. Check in was easy and and Jaclyn is very nice. The room met all our expectation - the bed is huge and kitchen and bathroom are very clean. I would totally recommend the place.

Jaclyn’s apartment is very beautiful, modern and clean. Though I didn’t get a chance to meet her in person, she and Robin (another host) are both very good at communicating every detail during my stay.
