Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Cat + plant lovers only- 1 cat lives here. I live on property too.

Quaint + cozy with a magical garden if you come in the right seasons. Set away from the hustle of Williamsburg, w/ a family feel + local gems for dining.

Best for 2 people but there is a queen sized sofabed in the living room for those trying to save money. I will decline bookings for more than 2ppl after 4 nights due to noise + hallway traffic that will disturb neighbors.

The space
100 year old building. Don't rent if you are not comfortable w/ quirks and if you expect it too look brand new, there are stains in the tub and on the kitchen counters, go away if you will give a bad rating for cleanliness, I have the place cleaned professionally + it costs $100 w. a $25 tip.

1 bd railroad w/ a queen bed. There is a brand new sofa bed in the living room that fits 2 people, private garden. Bath-tub as well. Vintage oven is broken. Stove works + mini toaster oven.

You must be a lover of the feline- no mediocrity acceptable: the cat, however, is as low-maintenance as can be.

If you come in Spring + Summer, you must be ok with the gardener accessing the garden through the kitchen, the gardener is ALWAYS a friend of mine and will have keys. We can organize a schedule that works for you.

Guest access
Check in 2PM, check-out 1100AM, but can try to be flexible with advance notice- please discuss at onset of booking.

If in late Spring to Fall, a private, beautiful garden with vegetables, flowers, even berries! A true and rare treasure.

Other things to note
DISCLAIMER:
A discount is available for guests staying 3 weeks or more.

This wonderful apartment with a magical garden has a competitive rate because I am seeking a commitment to the following parameters, please express your acknowledgment in your booking request. In winter dismiss #2.
1. There is a cat, cat lovers ONLY.
2. There is a garden, you have to be comfortable with set dates for my friend who is also the gardener to come through, we can pre-arrange so this happens while you are out, but it has to happen in Spring and Summer, once to two times per week.
3. Because of reasons 1. and 2. I will need your full commitment to be responsive to my check-ins which may happen once per week via the method that you are most apt to communicate by.
**Sorry, no more than 2 adults and 1 child are permitted.

Please note, I will hire a cleaning service before and after your stay, but the apartment is old and will never look sparkling clean and the wooden floors are not smooth and un-polished. Don't apply if you don't understand the place is old, a rental and there are tons of imperfections, which make it CHARMING.

The neighborhood is super sweet, there are new spots around, I can send you a pdf I made so you can check them out. Also, my neighbors are amazing and they are always outside in warm weather, you'll meet and probably share some beers. I will send you a PDF document with some local spots I like.

I am Jasmine, a lover of life and a multi-dimensional person and artist whose greatest passions are connection, travel and nature... Professional Bio: Since moving to NYC in 2004, Pasquill entered the realm of aesthetic image making for high fashion/art photography via training with Gloss Studio, Color Edge and Art + Commerce which amounted to many years working with the pictures of the world’s most interesting and prolific living photographers, like Steven Meisel and Glen Luchford and Inez + Vinoodh. An expert colorist, her work has landed in the pages of acclaimed fashion magazines; from a swath of international Vogue magazines, the more avant-garde sect like Numéro and i-D, billboard projects from Paris to Mexico City, as well as collaborations with underground musicians for press and cover art. After two decades in the field of digital media and post-production, one might say that Jasmine second home is Adobe Photoshop. Artistic Bio: Jasmine Pasquill is a Brooklyn-based multi-media artist, an independent curator of live performance, performance/movement artist, sonic experimenter, vocalist and occasional choreographer. Her early drawing works have been shown at Kantor-Feuer Gallery, 31 Grand and with a solo show at Show Pony, a now defunct gallery/boutique with a cult following. Her performances have taken place in beloved and sacred places: Zebulon, Tarot Society, Center for Performance Research, Magick City, Park Church Co-Op, San Damiano Mission Church and the Convent of St. Cecilia. As an independent curator, Pasquill has most often assembled casts of NY based artists for exhibitions in other cities. The Experimental Greenpoint Series was a curatorial project that lasted several years and featured performances by musicians and dance artists in her Greenpoint, Brooklyn home- the program had the opportunity to travel as a showcase for the inaugural launch of The Last Weekend, Upstate NY: designed for and by run NYC’s cultural makers and doers. Her other curatorial credits include Merge: An Audio Visual Trip (2015) NY, The Mirror of Us All (2013) NY, Experimental Greenpoint: The Last Weekend (2012) NY, New York Group Show for Source: Maui Interactive Music Festival (2011) HI, Frenetic Grace (2007) Igloo Gallery, OR.
