Welcome to the Glacier Gateway Cabins! Home of five, brand new one-bedroom tiny cabins, with vaulted ceilings and a spacious loft that serves as a second bedroom. Tucked in the forest off of Highway 2, conveniently located between Columbia Falls, MT and the mountain town of Hungry Horse.

While these cabins may be small, their tall peaked roofs provide a spacious feeling and fit perfectly with the towering treetops surrounding them. These beauties are located only 15-minutes from West Glacier!

Each cabin is suitable for up to 6 guests and offers proximity to Glacier National Park, a serene mountain setting, and a patio with a BBQ grill, and a picnic table for dining in the great outdoors.

Just off the patio, enter through sliding glass doors into an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area designed for efficiency. The kitchen features a 2-burner stovetop, over-the-range microwave, small drawer style dishwasher, and a mini-fridge/freezer. A stylish dining table provides an indoor dining space, while a sleeper sofa on the opposite wall provides a place for relaxing.

The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, forest views, and a smart TV.

The second bedroom is a loft that overlooks the main living area and is accessed via a built-in ladder. The loft houses a queen-over-queen bunk bed and a reading nook that makes it the perfect spot for relaxing.

The bathroom features a single vanity, glass surround shower, and is fully stocked with towels, washcloths, a hairdryer, and basic soaps. The cabins do not have in-house laundry, but you will find a communal laundry cabin on-site, with a coin-op washer and dryer.
For your convenience, laundry detergent is provided.

The Glacier Gateway Cabins are the perfect home away from home for your Glacier National Park vacation! Rent just one cabin or the entire property, it's up to you!

When you aren't off adventuring, you'll love exploring the nearby town of Columbia Falls, where you'll find everything you need. Columbia Falls is known to locals as the Gateway to Glacier because it is the largest city nearest to Glacier Park, but with a population of only 4,688 people, it has all the draws of a small town. With Glacier Park just 20-minutes away from Columbia Falls, you’ll easily be able to enjoy the park by day and have quick access to urban amenities and entertainment by night so that you can make the most of your Montana vacation.

Within just a five-minute drive from the cabins you'll find the House of Mystery, the Big Sky Water Slides, Smith's Grocery store, Glacier Lanes bowling alley, Badrock Bookstore, Azul Coffee Bar, and the Uptown Hearth Bakery ¬- which locals hail as the best bakery and coffee shop in the valley! Across the street from the bakery, you’ll find the Gunsight Bar and Grill which offers hand-crafted cocktails, indoor and outdoor dining, and live music on most nights of the week. Just a little further down the street, you’ll find O'brien's -the local liquor store, an antique shop, public swimming pool, and Montana Coffee Traders - a must-try spot for breakfast, and lunch! A little further down the road, you'll find The Backroom – a long-standing Columbia Falls favorite, famous for ribs and fry bread, and the Backslope Brewery which serves up great craft beer and amazing eats.

During the summer, on Thursday nights, you’ll find a lively Farmers' Market in “The Coop” located behind O’Brien’s Liquor store. Visitors love the sense of community and being able to buy fresh local produce to whip up an amazing salad. It doesn’t get much more “Montana” than a farm-to-table meal! Unless of course, you made time in your day to reel in a fish or two for the grill – which shouldn’t be hard to do with the abundant fishing opportunities the region affords!

If you’re up for a night out, you’ll find country dancing at the historic Blue Moon Bar, located just three miles west of Columbia Falls. During the summer months, behind the bar, at the Blue Moon Arena, you can participate in quintessential Montana culture by taking in a Brash Rodeo! Events include bull riding, bronc riding, steer riding, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, calf roping, and chute dodging.

The next town over is the small resort town of Whitefish, which is just 10 miles from Columbia Falls and provides a wide range of additional dining and entertainment options, including world-class skiing at the Whitefish Mountain Resort. South of Columbia Falls and Whitefish, is the town of Kalispell. Kalispell is the largest city in the valley and is home to the biggest shopping center – you’ll find stores such as REI, Sportsman’s Ski Haus, Cabela’s, Target, Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, Ross, and an array of restaurants and services.

Just 16-minutes south of Kalispell is Flathead Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. The east shore of the lake is home to the quaint town of Bigfork and abundant cherry orchards - don't forget to stop and buy some cherries from one of the many roadside stands; you won't regret it! Along the way, you'll enjoy majestic views, multiple public access swimming holes, boat launches, and a handful of restaurants and bars. On the west shore of Flathead Lake, you’ll find the small lake towns Somers and Lakeside, and a few public boat launches and popular swimming holes. Polson is located at the south end of the lake and is on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Polson has several events throughout the summer, such as the annual Cherry Festival. Flathead lake provides ample opportunity for swimming, fishing, boating, and fun in the sun!

There is so much to explore around the Flathead Valley; the possibilities are endless!
