Many thanks to Leo! Not only was the apartment great, but we were also greeted with a selection of food and wine when we arrived late at night. The apartment is so fantastically central - we achieved so much in our short amount of time in Paris merely because we were able to walk everywhere and there's a metro station literally seconds away. To add, the apartment is very clean and has everything you need plus more than enough space for two people. Was such a great experience!
The apartment was nice, quirky and clean. It was in a great location for us as we wanted to walk around Paris as much as possible without taking the metro. There was a nice welcome note when we arrived and some helpful tourist information provided for us to use. It was everything we needed for a short stay in Paris.
I wasn't terribly pleased with these accommodations. Not only did it feel very unclean and not well maintained (i.e. bedding looked and smelled as though it was not clean and the shower had heavy black mold), but there was constant building work involving power tools. Further, one day the water was shut off and when I contacted the host there wasn't much effort expended figuring out and resolving the issue. I had to go investigate myself. It do was stocked with all the basic needed items and was well located for access to the subway and museum d'orsay.
Leo's apartment is a great choice for those who have several days or a longer stay in Paris. It's well equipped, with a simple Parisian style, and the location is amazing, with just a few steps to the metro station. All main sightseeing are in a walking distance, which is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the city and see the life of Paris! Leo met us in the apartment, was very nice and ready to help, and that makes him a great host.
