Exactly as it says it is and even better - good for a family and Janice organised everything for us very efficiently, thank you very much! Near to the main square, Badi palace and saadian tombs - all only about a 5 min walk away and plenty of local shops too for food and water

The appartment was great! Especially the rooftop was perfect! It's the best place for having breakfast in the morning and for dinner in den evening its calm and cozy as well :) The kitchen is small but well equipped with all necessary things. Me and may crew and Janice never introduced us to each other, though I guess me met sometimes at the house-floor. The checkin and organisation was done by Rashid, he gave us is phone number, but wasnt rechable. From former stays with AirBnb I expected a more personal contact or communication. Anyway I konw that a personal contact or some advices what to do in Marrakesh or explaining the map are not included, and after some hours of studying the maps an walkin aroun din the neighbour hood we coul orientat ourselfs quiet well, even in the small streets and had a greally great time at Janice place!

The apartment was great from all points of view and we had a great host, both Janice and Rachid are wonderful people. Janice came to meet us at the airport on arrival although we were a bit late. Rachid meet us at the apartment, we had fresh fruits and water, this was amazing. Rachid helped us with any problem we had during our stay, very responsive and as we had an early flight he also arranged for us a taxi to get us to the airport. The apartment had everything we needed, the towels were clean and also the bed linen. In the night was a bit cold, but we had heaters and blankets and it was ok. The roof terrace was incredible and really made our holiday. The apartment is close to everything, in the center of the old town, very close to Jemma el Fna, 2 mins walk to Palais Badi. We had a lovely time in Janice apartment and in Marrakesh, we recommend Janice apartment and we will definitely be back!

This riad is exactly as in the pictures, colourful and beautiful! Rachid came to meet us on arrival although it was late on a Sunday; there was fresh fruit and bottled water already there for us which was amazing as our first experience of the city was best done in daylight the following morning! We were also kindly accommodated with a later check-out for our late flight home without any bother, which we really appreciated. There was w-fi and Rachid immediately addressed an issue we had with it the first day (turned out to be our phone settings!) The riad had everything you could need- kettle, iron, etc., all spotlessly clean. The towels in the bathroom were a little musty-smelling but then we visited early in the season so probably hadn't been used for a while, however they seemed entirely clean. My friend was in the larger bedroom and noticed a smell of sewerage in her bedroom most mornings; I didn't have the same problem in my room. The riad could get cold at night when the temperatures dropped as there is not a full roof due to the stairs to the terrace- I wouldn't have changed this for anything though, as waking up to the sound of prayers from the nearby mosque, and later to birdsong, was beautiful. There were also heaters in every room so it was easy to get cosy. The terrace is truly gorgeous as a spot for breakfast but a lamp up there would make it even more perfect as it was very dark at night- tiny thing and not a problem as the view of the night sky was amazing! The only concern we had was that one morning we found the gate between our terrace and the next one open- a couple of days later we found a hose in our terrace so I figure someone needed to pop in to water the plants every so often. As the terrace allows full access to the riad, I would just recommend making guests aware of who will access it (it's most likely Janice who we didn't meet but were told lives there also), as we were a bit unnerved as two females there alone to find someone had come into the terrace. We also would most likely have had a heart attack if we had ever found a person up there so just give a warning! :) The riad is also in a perfect location- 5 mins walk to Djemaa el-Fna and one minute to Place des Ferblantiers, which has lovely bars (at least one of which serves alcohol) and is near to many of the main sights. The moment you step out the door you're surrounded by market vendors who will want to sell you things but we found them so friendly and they often helped us to open the door if we struggled with the key! Overall we had a lovely time in this riad and it was such a great trip!...

Overall a great place and a great host. Accurate description, check-in very easy. We loved the place except two things, the sewage odor in the main bedroom and the chill at night. We were here in November and even with 2 heaters it was way too cold. However when the sun is out, the patio is lovely and the place felt very welcoming. I would recommend this flat if they can fix the cold problem (they were starting to enclose the place when we were checking out) or if you arrive in any other season but winter.
