Your detached holiday home of 75 m2 is located on a plot of no less than 1,000 m2, in the middle of nature! The bungalow is located on Landgoed Valkenburg. A small-scale holiday park in the woods of Ede and Bennekom, between Hoekelum Castle and De Sysselt nature reserve. With the vast heathlands of the Veluwe within cycling distance and all the urban amenities nearby, this is the perfect starting point for a wonderful (mini)holiday!

The space
The house is fully furnished and can accommodate up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms (even 7, if you use the existing folding bed). But also with the two of us it is fine to admit it here! The bright living room with large TV and open kitchen gives an extra spacious feel due to the high beamed ceiling. Furthermore, there is a spacious bathroom with rain shower. The large, open garden around the house offers a lot of freedom. Also on squirrels, birds, deer and other animals, which you can already enjoy from your lazy chair!

Where you’ll be

Bennekom, Gelderland, Netherlands

• Nearby amenities? Bennekom is a cozy village with nice shops. In Ede you will find more shops, restaurants, a large market and much more. Visit www.ede.nl for all activities. Or visit VVV Ede in Stadswinkel Cultura, at Molenstraat 45 in Ede.
• More shopping? In Wageningen or Veenendaal you can shop nicely. Or go to Arnhem for a bigger offer.
• Hiking or cycling? There are plenty of beautiful routes in the woods or on the heath. Check out www.wandeleninede.nl or www.fietseninede.nl.
• More nature? Visit the National Park De Hoge Veluwe, accessible from Schaarsbergen, Hoenderloo and Otterlo. Or go to the Aboretum Belmonte or the Nature Park De Blauwe Kamer in Wageningen.
• Culture? In the National Park De Hoge Veluwe lies the Kröller-Müller Museum with Europe's largest sculpture garden and the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world. Think of the Open Air Museum in Arnhem, Airborne Museum Hartenstein in Oosterbeek or the Watching and Listening Museum in Bennekom.
• To the movies? Ede has a great cinema with Pathé CineMec!
To the zoo? Both Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen and Burgers Zoo in Arnhem are nearby.
• Golf lovers?
• Special events? The Liberation Festival in Wageningen on
5 May, the Heath Week in Ede in the last full week of August and the Air Landings on the Ginkelse Hei in September are our favorite!
