'Ethno-chic' earth house with all mod cons. Built in a bibical Berber village with stunning scenery all around. 6 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. 2 single beds also. Swimming pool, gardens, terraces and the cooking is the best!

The space

This house is in a really special place. The house is quite theatrical and offers wonderful entertaining space. The village is like something out of the Bible (but with electricity and Wifi internet!). The place has a very spiritual feel to it and almost healing qualities.

Guest access

Six double rooms all with en-suite bath or shower room. We have 2 extra single beds which can be put into most of the rooms. Staff prepare meals and take care of you. Rooms are cleaned and tidied daily. Breakfast is included in the price, additional meals available on request at very reasonable prices.

Interaction with guests

We have a wonderful cook / housekeeper will take exceptional care of your meals. She is an absolute gem and will cook you fantastic Moroccan meals with tajine, salads, grilled meats, couscous and much more! The house is staffed and cleaned daily. Laundry and all ironing can also be done onsite.

Other things to note

We recommend having a hire car for at least some of your stay to enable you to go and explore the lake, the Atlas mountains and to get in and out of Marrakech. Alternatively we can call you a taxi / minibus for transfers at any time. Cost is about €45 for a return journey to Marrakech.

A really gorgeous place, such an amazing spot to stay. We loved hearing all the quiet, steady happenings of the village life. The cows, goat kids, donkeys and of course the call to prayer drifting over. Which was a bit of an abrupt awakening at dawn (we honestly thought he was in the bedroom with us on the first night! - as the mosque is right next to the house) quickly got used to it though. There's a real sense of sanctuary here, while being immersed in Moroccan village life. A very special place, wish we'd stayed longer. Saida, the housekeeper, was an absolute superstar, so helpful and a wonderful cook.

The host was very welcoming and made it easy for me to contact him at anytime with quick response ! He made sure I got to my destination safely and was welcomed by the housekeeper who catered for our every need. The villa was kept clean at all times and the food was delicious. The village was very quiet and the villagers very polite. My family had the best time just swimming and relaxing. The building was very beautiful and traditional, the rooms had air conditioning and with traditional baths which was calming and peaceful.
