The space

Situated in Big Bear's most desirable location, this expansive estate is sure to please your large groups. Built in 2006, this 5200 square foot custom home features a state of the art kitchen(plus adjoining butler's kitchen), a formal dining room, step down living room, and upgraded features throughout the house. The living room has plenty of seating along with huge floor to ceiling windows looking directly at Bear Mountain ski resort. The property features 2 huge master suites with Cal king beds and deck access. Incredible Lake and Mountain views are captured from the the master suites and adjoining bathrooms.

Each master suite also has a fireplace. The property features a first floor apartment(6th bedroom) that has a kitchenette, fireplace, and it's own living room. This is a perfect set-up for parents with young kids who would like their own space. For entertainment, the home comes with a pool table, poker table(in the loft), and a new hot tub outside in the extensive decking. We also provide a ping pong table in garage for use during the warmer months. There are flat screen televisions hooked up to cable TV in all of the bedrooms. Wireless internet and free phone use also come with the house. A/C is available on the main level of the home only.

All renters MUST dispose of their trash at one of the 2 Clean Bear Trash Sites.

Clean Bear Trash Site #2 On Big Bear Blvd, well past the village, on the left across the street from the City Hall/Performing Art Center, Clean Bear Trash Site #2 is in the parking lot of the auxiliary fire station. Fire House #2 (across from the Civic Center on Big Bear Blvd.)

ABIDE BY OCCUPANCY LIMITS. Each property is licensed to accommodate a maximum amount of
people, DAY AND NIGHT. Overcrowding is dangerous, disrespectful, and illegal. Please do not exceed the designated amount.

DISPOSE OF TRASH PROPERLY. "Clean Bear Sites" are available nearby all residential areas.
These sites are funded by homeowners through local property taxes. Please take all household trash items to these sites; not doing so is disrespectful and a violation of
the code of conduct.

PARK CARS APPROPRIATELY. The Big Bear Lake Ordinance limits the number of cars parked at
each property, and this number is displayed on a sign on each house. Parking more cars is
a city ordinance violation. Please use common sense – Do not block streets or corners and
keep all cars parked on driveways. During snow conditions, avoid large fines: do not block plows or park anywhere on the street.

DO NOT DISPOSE OF ASHES FROM BBQ'S AND FIREPLACES. It is against Five Star Vacation
Rentals’ policy for guests to remove or dispose of Fireplace or BBQ ashes. Our Housekeeping Department will properly and safely dispose of all ashes. If you need ash removal, please contact our office. Any improper disposal on ashes will result in charges equal to the amount of the security deposit for this cabin.

ANY VIOLATION OF THIS CODE OF CONDUCT BY ANYONE IN YOUR PARTY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE CHARGE AND/OR EJECTION OF EVERYONE WITHOUT ANY REFUND, AND COULD INCLUDE ADDITIONAL CITY

Big house which is great if you have a large group. It definitely needs some TLC (see all the notes below RE: oven, fridge and there is some broken furniture). Also if you're expecting that all 6 bedrooms are there, be prepared. The "two twin" bedroom is more like a closet that the bed is jammed into (with a trundle underneath). But overall, it served its purpose and we had fun.

A fun place in a great location, but a few issues to be aware of. 1) The refrigerator is finicky and should not be set to anything above 3. Also, be sure to keep the top shelf is relatively clear for the air flow. I wish Kevin or the company had told us this before we arrived because the fridge didn't get cold on the first night and it spoiled much of our food. 2) The A/C does not keep the house very cool. And yes, as the listing says, it does not exist on the top floor. But there are fans provided. 3) The house is not in great shape overall. Some furniture is ripped or falling apart, shower handles and faucets are loose or non existent. General lack of care and not very well maintained. 4) Just heads up that parking is absolutely limited to six and there is zero flexibility. No street parking at all. Kevin was very responsive if we had an issue and that was appreciated! Fun time with friends!

Great location with a lot of space, rooms, beds, and various activities (pool table, outdoor grill, hot tub, media room, etc). We stayed with a group of 10 and it met all of our needs. There was SO much space and everyone got a bed. Beautiful views during the day and night (you can see the stars). Nice neighborhood. Simple check in/check out process. Host responded quickly to call about the propane tank. Everything was great, we are glad we stayed here. Only negative was that you can tell the house has definitely been "worn" over time (fridge didn't get as cold as it could have, a few of the furniture were worn/broken)-- but that did not take away from our ability to enjoy the entire house and trip.

Description accurate. Beautiful area. House accommodated all 16 of us for sleeping and hanging out. The house has potential. Needs updating and fixing of nonworking items such as the burners on the stove. We also couldn't figure out how to work the ovens (not your typical oven). We figured it out eventually. We came in the summer (August) and thought the area was beautiful. Can't imagine how beautiful it is in the winter.

This Place is OK the price is too high for what's it's worth. The location is perfect but the rooms are not really 6 bedrooms, and the appliances were old and broken, also the fridge wasn't working & had to call for someone to come to fix it. Very inconvenient for our family trip. The air conditioning downstairs wasn't working so it was very hot during summer time. We had to request electric fans.The pictures on the site is not updated. Also this place is not disabled friendly.

The house is beautiful and easily accommodated our family. The location is great and the neighborhood is lovely. There is some wear and tear that is expected when you rent a home. For example, the pans have seen better days and the one of the recliners was broken. Other than that, the house was great. The upstairs does get very hot. Kevin was very responsive when we called. We were informed the upstairs AC was not functioning and they came out an installed screens in the windows upstairs within the hour.

Hi Cristina, thank you for the review. Most Big Bear homes do not have any AC, however this home has AC on the main level. It never had AC upstairs so we do recommend opening the windows at night to cool down upstairs. Thanks again!
