This quaint home boasts a flat fenced yard with attached garage. The exterior yard is professionally landscaped and has a large deck for entertainment. Oversized sliding doors lead in from the yard to the living room with it's warming fireplace. The whole house maintains 1950s charm with all modern updates... light and bright. Wood floors through most of the home with high end carpeting in the living and bedrooms.
We have furnished this home with premium quality amenities everywhere. There are no hand-me-downs or worn out furnishings – everything is new or of quality to last for years. Once you enter the home you will sense the quality, freshness, and convenience.
Included in the home are a fully equipped kitchen, stylish bath with shower, carpeted bedrooms, wood floors in the kitchen dining and hallways. Appliances and furnishings include a new stainless steel refrigerator, new Miele made dishwasher, microwave, premium waterless cookware, coffee maker, front loading washer and dryer, dining room table, fireplace, and couches. Electronics provided include a 42” 1080i plasma TV, blue-ray/DVD/CD player, Netflix streaming capability, cable TV, WiFi (wireless internet) throughout the home.
The home has three bedrooms that can sleep five and a large living room: a Queen bed in the master bedroom, double bed, and twin trundle bed that pulls out to make a king (two twin mattresses at same bedside height). All linens and pillows are first quality. The additional mattresses can be arranged. Each room has comfortable beds with plush duvets and good reading lights. Furthermore, all bedrooms are fully carpeted with large windows to let in lots of light!
Wonderful oversized sliding doors from the living room (with comfortable sofas and chairs) look onto the back yard. This fenced backyard is part of the 9000 square foot flat, sunny, landscaped yard.
There is a one stall garage. It's deep with a storage room off the end. Also lots of lights!
Our Downtown Bellevue Guest Home is an ideal blend of location, amenities, and ease of use. It is located just two blocks south of downtown Bellevue on a double dead end street. You will be surprised such a tranquil location exists so close to Bellevue’s downtown core. There is no need to start your car to go downtown – just walk to all the downtown dining, shopping and movies! You will enjoy extremely easy access to I-90, I-405 and mass transit bus center.

You will have access to the entire home (including the garage for storage and a front loading washer and dryer). There is a small owner only Storage facility attached to the house that is not open for use, but other than that, the house is yours! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need for cooking so just bring your food!
Interaction with guests
Many guests return every year and have become friends, but the home is peaceful and exclusively yours for your stay. We only live 5 mins away so are always available if needed.
Other things to note
We have a 3 night minimum stay from October 1st to May 31st. During the summer season we have a 5 night minimum from June 1st to September 30th. If there are secured reservations with fewer than the minimum number of days in-between, we will consider taking shorter reservations.
I bought this quaint home due to its fabulous location. At the time I as working in an office in downtown Bellevue. I lived here myself and loved being able to walk to work in the morning and to the movies and dinner in the evening. Having a quiet relaxing day at the house followed by a slow walk down main street to enjoy the vibe of the evening and the wonderful restaurants was one of my favorite things. Despite being so close to the heart of the city, I would enjoy peaceful weekends in the large yard feeling like I was miles from the noise! I enjoy the area so much with the incredible hikes, mountain biking, skiing and city culture all at my fingertips. It's no surprise that my husband, children and I still live in the area and have done so for many years. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
This home is located in a quiet residential street so no large gatherings and no additional overnight guest without homeowner approval.
The maximum number of guests is limited to 5 persons. An additional charge per person per night for guests in addition to 5 will be assessed.
The ex chief of police lives within view of the front door so safety has never been an issue!
We ask that guests remove shoes in the home.
Please note that under no circumstances do we allow smoking, parties or pets. Our guest house is located in a quiet neighborhood street and failure to abide by this will sadly result in immediate termination of your stay and forfeiture of funds paid. Please note that friends who come to visit you in the home are also required to leave their pets and cigarettes in the car! (We have repeat clientele who suffer from severe allergies so this is of utmost importance....Than you!)
Access: Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection and yard maintenance. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.
Condition: If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, Guest shall inform Homeowner immediately. Guest will be expected to leave the home in an orderly state. Failure to do so will result in additional charges.
It is the Guest’s responsibility to immediately notify Owner of any issues that they incur during their stay so that they may be promptly addressed. Owner shall not be held liable, or otherwise take any responsibility, for any injuries that may occur to Guest, and/or Guest’s invitee, that is caused or permitted to be caused by the intentional, unintentional, negligent, or careless acts of said Guests, and/or invitees. By the written or electronic endorsement of this Agreement, Guest agrees to forever hold-harmless and indemnify Owner from any liability and/or responsibility arising therefrom.
MISCELLANEOUS. Guest may not assign or sublease any rights under this Agreement without Manager's prior written consent.
CHECK OUT RESPONSIBILITY. The Guest shall empty the interior garbage containers, place the exterior trash can located in the tote outside the garage, generally clean and wipe down the premises. Strip the sheets and leave on floor. The Guest shall make sure that the dishes are washed/dried and placed as they were found upon check-in. The deep cleaning and the rest of the washing, etc. will be handled by the house cleaner. Guest shall lock and secure the doors. “Please do the right thing when exiting.”
