Our 2 bedroom house is ideally located between Albert Park Lake and Port Philip Bay. There are 3 different tram routes in less than a 5 minute walk. Cook a gourmet meal using the Ilve oven inside or the inbuilt Weber barbeque oven on the deck.

The space

A beautifully presented Victorian cottage which is the perfect base for a beach holiday and for seeing Melbourne.
It is a 5 minute walk to MSAC, the beach and the restaurants of Albert Park village.
Alternatively hop on the number 12 tram and head to cosmopolitan St Kilda or maybe try Crown for its restaurants, movies or even a touch of gambling.
Most likely you will want to use our facilities to cook a gourmet meal. The redgum dining table allows for 10 people to be comfortably seated.
Alternatively, the glass top table on the deck will comfortably seat 8 people.
The living area is massive and the leather lounges allow you to comfortably watch free to air tv, Foxtel or listen to music through the surround sound system.
The whole house is air conditioned and heated at the touch of a button.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a 2 door fridge freezer with ice maker, a wide Ilve oven and gas hotplates, a dishwasher, microwave, jura automatic coffee machine and much more.
The main bedroom has a new modern queen bed and the second bedroom (study) has a pull down (double) wall bed.
There is a modern bathroom with good size shower and a separate powder room with the toilet.
The laundry is behind sliding doors and contains an Asko front load washer and an Asko drier.
All linen and towels are provided for your stay plus basic consumables and bathroom products.
Free WiFi internet is available throughout the house.

The house is in a great location. It is a lovely place to stay very convenient to transport and nearby cafes. We walked to South melbourne market. Would highly recommend to stay here for Albert Park area. Very good host communication.

Fantastic house in a wonderful neighbourhood. The house has everything you could possibly need & then some for a comfortable stay. Also close to Albert Park village & public transport gets you to the CBD in 20 mins or walk along the beach to St Kilda in 40 mins. Highly recommended.

I would very highly recommend staying at John's marvelous home in Albert Part. I just had the pleasure of staying for 10 days and have to say that it really exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Outside it looks like a classic, well maintained workers cottage. But inside this lovely house manages to be homely, yet spacious and beautifully renovated / modern too! It's a great space with great vibes and has excellent facilities - ideally located in one of Melbournes nicest inner city suburbs. Everything is good here, two lovely warm and comfortable bedrooms, modern shower and bathroom, really good central heating and aircon, but the star of the show is the large, light filled, open plan living / dining / kitchen area that leads out to the back yard with gas fired BBQ. The kitchen has excellent facilities and appliances, with a super quality oven, coffee machine, fridge with ice and water dispenser and everything you need to cook up a storm! Also, nice TV with just about all the Foxtel cable channels, surround sound system and comfortable sofas round it out. This is the best place I've stayed so far in Melbourne. I'll be back next time, thank you John.

A real home away from home. Great locale, walk to either Middle Park or Albert Park. We'll definitely be back.

What a beautiful cottage in a great neighbourhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our Melbourne cultural weekend. Albert Park is a great central location, merely a $10-15 uber to the CBD, theatre district and Melbourne Park stadiums. The property is perfect for 2-4 people, and the amenities were perfect... I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to be a Melbournian for a week or weekend...

I am married to Jean and we travel regularly. Our daughter is an oenologist in Tuscany and we visit Italy as often as we can to visit her. We are both full time teachers in private colleges in Melbourne. We enjoy cooking, eating out, watching our AFL team Carlton play football. We enjoy visiting new places and like Europe in particular. We enjoyed a trip at Christmas visiting Liverpool in UK, also the Cotswolds staying with friends for Christmas and Paris for the new year week to celebrate Jeans 60 th birthday. We then finished with 5 days in Nice. Have recently returned from a trip to Penang and Singapore over Easter. We work to get the money to travel as it is our passion. Recently went to the Bruce Springsteen concert in Melbourne and thought it was unbeatable.
As a guest we are conscious of respecting your house. We have a high standard of cleanliness and are quiet.
