We had a very nice stay at the Bali Green Hills and would highly recommend it to everyone. Although it says South Kuta, it really is in Padang Padang Beach area. We were greeted when we arrived by Bond, the owner, and several other staff. They helped us with our baggage, and were incredibly kind throughout our stay.
The amenities were very nice and unexpected, especially coming from another AirBNB that was more expensive without amenities. There was a mini fridge, tolitries, TV, very affordable drinks in the fridge, and they cleaned the place each day. They offered a light lunch for a reasonable cost, and also the breakfast was very good. All of the staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful. One of the staff even gave my son some toys to play with during our stay.
With minimal notice, we were able to rent a car and a scooter which was extremely convenient. The view from the balcony is also incredible, and there is a larger pool and a smaller jacuzzi which our 1.5 year old son loved because he could stand up in it.
The only negative for me was the inconvenience of the location, and that was partially because of my family situation. Because we have a young baby, we couldn't use a scooter to get around. We did rent the car one day, but wouldn't want to do that for several days. The walk down to a few restaurants isn't too bad (15-20 minutes depending on the route), but we encountered monkeys on the way down and had to turn around and go the other way.
The main road at the bottom of the hill does not have sidewalks and is not very safe to walk on, especially at night. The beach down at the bottom of the hill is also very small, and had monkeys and a good bit of trash too. I had read good things about it and was surprised with how it was. We ended up renting the car and driving to Nusa Dua Resort and beach (about 45 min drive away) and that was really good.
Overall, this place was very nice, and would strongly recommend it!
