Really pleased we booked this apartment through Paul. The place was just what we wanted - relaxed, cosy, and with a stunning view of the bay. As an added bonus, the little bit of sea you can see in the pictures is frequented by some impressive local surfers at the weekends, which makes for some great entertainment in between sips of beer and book-reading. We walked pretty much all around Punta Mujeres and Arrieta, and I can guarantee this little stretch of seafront apartments is the best option in the area (we even had some passing holidaymakers inquire about the apartment as they thought it looked so cute/cosy).
Local restaurants are very good too - El Amanacer, El Lago, El Charcon (for lunch) and Pizzeria La Artesana are the pick of the bunch. And the local wine has improved dramatically since I came last - Volcano and El Grifo are both producing really top quality semi-dry and dry whites and roses. Reds not bad too.
Paul is also super responsive over email. He makes everything really easy (directions to apartment etc.), and sent detailed notes on what to do and see in the area. Without a doubt I would book this apartment again.
Just one note: if you go in the off season, pack a few warmer jumpers and take a light-weight coat, as Lanzarote can get a little windy and cool if the clouds blow in.
