Eugenio's place is perfectly located for the wonderful covered market and those hidden places where tapas is cheap and plentiful. Being five minutes from one of the stops on the tourist bus routes was an added bonus so traveling around was really easy. A lovely evening stroll to the Font Magica and Pl Espanya and for those who are happy to explore, a 45 ish min walk to Pl Catalunya. The flat was well equipped and was perfect for the three of us, with my parents getting the large room with en-suite and I had the other room and bathroom to myself. As I was traveling on-wards, the washing machine, washing powder and drying area were a real bonus. Eugenio, his mother and his apartment sum up everything I love about Airbnb!

The pictures at Airbnb gave a different impression of the apartment in total. One could have thought that the apartment was newly renovated. But it was the opposite. Especially the kitchen equipment was disappointing: there were not even wine glasses... all plates are damaged and in the given pans, we did not want to prepare our morning eggs. We also found a butter dish at the sink which was full of old moldy sponges. I wonder, what this was all about. All in all, the apartment was only superficially clean. I would have expected it differently. In my opinion, the whole apartment needs a substantial renovation. I would not recommend the apartment by now. The welcoming by Eva was nice and we appreciated to leave our bags to hours longer in the apartment. Thank you for that.

Overall a decent spot to base yourself when visiting Barcelona. It has plenty of pro's but a couple of drawbacks also. The pro's are the great location, close to the metro and numerous restaurants & small bars/cafes. Spacious apartment, two bathrooms, strong wifi. Very easy to get to and from the airport using the A1 or A2 bus which stops at nearby Plaza Espanya. The downside is that the two bedrooms are facing a busy street with a lot of traffic noise, even with the windows closed, which obviously the host can't do much about. The bedding is basic with firm mattresses and uncomfortable pillows. There are no extra pillows or blankets available. This could be improved upon which might make sleeping through the noise easier! The apartment also has a damp smell in the living room and kitchen area which could be due to the age of the building or plumbing issues. Kitchen is lacking a little in terms of cutlery and cups for more than two guests, and also the fridge door is broken and needs to be lifted when closing or else it doesn't close properly.

The apartment was very roomy and comfortable for 4 of us. The living and dining spaces were large. The main bedroom was very large for an apartment. We liked the location. It was easy to get to. The airport bus is only a short walk down the end of the street. Easy walking distance to the metro, yet we often walked to and from the main sites of Barcelona. Eugenio was a good host, allowing us to leave our luggage there until the check in time, so that we could do some sight seeing. Thanks.

Comfortable apartment in a great location near Hostafrancs metro station. Overall we really enjoyed our stay -- the location is great with lots of good food and a great market nearby, as well as the metro station. There were a couple of things that could have made it better. We visited during the hottest part of the year, and the air conditioning was somewhat underpowered, so we had difficult staying cool at night. Visiting during the spring or fall should be no problem. Also, just a heads up for anyone with mobility issues, the apartment is on the second floor with narrow stairs or a very small elevator as your only options.

I Never met Eugenio I only met his mom and she was very rude and I didn't understand why, because we paid 18 thousand to live there. The apartment is very worn out some of the sofa covering was gone and a remote to the air condition. The pictures don't show how dark the Living Room is. The kitchen equipment is very poor, there wasn't even a strainer and many thing like a bread knife, a big frying pan and so on. I really enjoyed my trip to Barcelona but it was not so much because of the apartment. The area is very nice and not that touristy.

I live in Barcelona. I'm an student and live in spain since I was 1,5. I'm a sportsman and I study at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.

I love sports. I practice kik boxing, boxing and muay thay now and I have done soccer, swimming, cycling, (with which you move very well in Barcelona), tennis, mountain sports ... And in winter I love to go snowboarding. Maybe it will no longer be only in winter if Barcelona opens the artificial ski track in 2015.
My destinations are many, traveling is something exciting, but I would like to go to Thailand, Japan, China, the US and parts of Africa.

I like listening to punk and rock in my spare time, watch series like "The Walking Dead", How I Met Your Mother, friends ... As for movies I like all genres (horror, comedy, war, etc.) . I love spicy food, Mexican, Italian too, meats (around a bit).

As a guest I would be respectful, orderly, punctual, no trouble maker in general. And as host I see myself as someone responsible, caring, understandable, direct and sincere.
