Prasad does not appear to have any connection to this inn. We did not meet him, nor did we speak to him on the phone when we called the number provided. He was, however, quick to respond whenever I had a question for him on Airbnb messaging. This place is overpriced for what is being offered. We arrived to a room that was cleanish but had a used towel that was not cleared. Other than that, the basic room was quite spacious and had 2 large beds with clean sheets for the 3 of us. The toilet is basic, but there is hot water for the showers. They did not provide a hand towel or floor mat in the bathroom. The door did not close properly. I booked 2 nights hoping for a good rest before embarking on the climb up Adam's peak at 2am to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately it was noisy. There were some construction works happening upstairs, and the building isn't soundproof. I had my sleep disturbed by slamming doors, voices and loud footsteps. I am not a light sleeper. In the end, we had to do the climb on very little sleep, and we decided to check out after the climb to stay elsewhere. They have a flexible cancellation policy but I was refused the refund for the night I did not stay. Other than that, the staff there are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant there with a great view but pretty awful food. They also pack sandwiches and fruits for your climb. Ask them not to toast the bread, as we ended up with hard, inedible sandwiches at the top of Adam's Peak.

We stayed here for our Adams Peak walk and it was fine. Rooms are functional and the bed was comfy, we had hot water in our shower (friends in a different room didn't so we recommend you check). Location is very close to the beginning of the walk and the hotel has the best view for when you're not walking.

I spent one night before climbing Adam's peak. The room did not have a window to enjoy the view and located just beside the busy road. But it was ok because it was just for taking a nap before climbing the mountain. The restaurant was wonderful. The foods at the restaurant was not much spicy. I could enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain from the restaurant.

Wathsana Inn at Nallathanniya is a great spot for the Sri Praada (AKA Adam's Peak) pilgrimage, only a short 5 mins walk from the start. The room was nice and adequate i.e. bathroom simple was plain but functional and clean. There are food options around so keep your options open. The concierge was very nice and helpful. We would stay again if need be!

The balcony overlooking the river was a heavenly way to spend time before and after our hike up Adam's Peak. Rooms were large and clean and comfy. Great location for the hike, and Prasad and all the staff are warm and professional.
