Stayed five weeks Aug through to early Sept. House was ideal for two people, clean and well equipped. Gated community was quiet, neighbours were friendly only downside was traffic noise, as the house is next to a main road. Fifteen minute walk to the city centre, with a Tesco Extra supermarket just up the road.

Kate was very obliging to fit in with our arrival time, met us at the apartment and spent time with us explaining the property and the city attractions. The place was small but perfectly comfortable, clean and tidy, and had all that we required. It was a good location for walking or taking public transport to the city. Traffic was a little noisy, but could be easily blocked out by closing the double glazed windows. A nice little place, but would be enhanced by availability of wifi.

Kate was super helpful since we got there.... the location will depend on what are your plans in liverpool... we went to a festival in the baltic triangle and it was just 10 -15 min away walking.... still .. to get to liverpool central or lime street it should be 20 - 25 min walk... the apartment itself has everything including a super comfy sofa.... will stay there again if we go back to liverpool

This is an incredible, comfy and clean house in a cozy and private gated area. The host gave us an incredible briefing on arrival, and obviously was very keen on being an excellent ambassador for the city.

I stayed at the house for over a month. It is one of the nicest AirBnB rentals I've stayed in, and I've stayed in quite a few. The place is quiet, yet very close to sightseeing and nightlife spots in Liverpool. I work while I travel, and the internet connection was more than sufficient for my computing needs. Kate was very attentive and even let me know about some events going on in the city. I highly recommend a stay at their house.

We are a retired couple originally from the UK, living in or near Cape Town for 16 years. We have been renting property since 2001. We thoroughly enjoy hosting people here in Cape Town and Ann has qualified as an official tourism guide to Cape Town and the local areas. Andy enjoys building and the apartment became available five years ago when he finished building our new house in the country.

We both enjoy camping, old heritage buildings, the wild areas of South Africa, and revelling in the hospitality of the winelands (that's where the new house is ... !).

You can see more about the Mutual Building (14 Darling Street, where the apartment is located) on Wikipedia if you simply search (on Wikipedia) for "Mutual Building" - go there, it's worth it because it is an amazing building!

We have family in Liverpool and we visit as often as possible to watch the grandchildren growing up. We have recently added our small house in Liverpool to AirBnB, and it attracts a lot of enquiries. Our daughter Kate will look after you if you are going there, but we are in touch with you all of the way.
