The room was exactly like the pictures - clean, spacious and complete with fan, mosquito net and a lovely big shower with hot water in the bathroom. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts. A tuc tuc to the Fort cost us 300 rupees one way but you can also walk there in about 15 mins no problem. A recommendable stay.

We only have one fan in our room, so it's quite warm, but our host provides an extra fan in our room, then it became much better, thanks a lot. How nice they are! Also the breakfast is delicious, and they will find the tuk tuk driver to pick up us, that's lovely, and for the price, you can cut down more :). The place also near the fort and the train station, so don't worry about the convince of transportation.

I had spend 5 nights in Sri Lanka, and this is the best one. Bundala and the remaining staffs in the villa will make sure you have a great stay in Galle. If you need to go to the villa, i suggest you can try to get the host to arrange Vincent, tuk tuk driver to pick you up upon reaching the train station. It will be much better experience than trying to get one on your own as those tuk tuk drivers will try to quote a very unrealistic price for a short ride. In the morning, breakfast will be provided at top notch quality ( no preservative in bread ) they get a new one everyday, fruits was fantastic and omelette ( slurp) with tea as well. We are very lucky to be able to meet up with Bundala on our second night at the villa, he shared a lot of information regarding Colombo to us and also some of his travelling experience (we spent 3500 rupees from Airport to Colombo, and Bundala can tell you how to reach airport from Colombo at 150 rupess!). On the day we are going to check out, Bundala found out that the train railway is undergoing repair therefore he send two gentlemen to check on the status and update us regularly so that we do not need to go to the train station much earlier. The property is very clean, big and beautiful, if you need to stay at a bigger room then just book the room with A/C (the fan room is also very big, A/C room just BIGGER). We very much appreciate all the things that is being done by your staffs. Truly, this is the best stay i had so far in all my AirBnb stay. Villa no.56 will be my sweetest thing i remember in Galle. TQ again everyone in the villa, especially Bundala for your hospitality.

Located at just 1.5kms from the Galle Railway & bus station, me and my wife walked to this place instead of taking a tuktuk. The room was quite big and spacious. The common area was huge. A well maintained garden adds to the beauty. Mr. Lal & Takshila and the other guy (sorry can't recollect his name) took good care of us and guided us properly.... IF YOU NEED A TUK TUK FOR SIGHTSEEING AND DON'T WANT BE CHEATED... PLEASE ASK THE PEOPLE THERE & THEY WILL ARRANGE IT FOR YOU...

When we arrived the atmosphere was all a bit odd, all the rooms are off one central room as you come in the front door. You're given a pad lock to lock your door with when you go out. There are literal holes in the walls so outside can get in, you can hear next door on the phone/talking etc and whoever is in the dinning/reception area. I'm guessing it's for ventilation, but you don't really want that in a mosquito country...(!!) and when you're trying to sleep!! we also left with bed bug bites.. it wasn't very clean, but it was sort of tidy. the location is off the main road 1/2 km away from the new city and away from the Fort. One of the guys working there insisted we used their friend for a tuk tuk as "white girl get charged more" when in fact I'd got the same price for further the night before... and was slightly offended by that. Could of just called me a tourist. the breakfast was standard egg toast banana and papaya, tea coffee if you wanted. Basically we won't be returning.

I hope I can come whenever I travel to Sri Lanka after here. Thanks again to everyone here. Very lucky to meet such a good hotel.
