Welcome to my garden hide-a -way. The cottage is located in the back yard of my 1878 "gold rush cottage" located in a "Federally Recognised Historic District". You will discover that the location is delightfully quiet and surrounded by my garden that provides year round interest from abundant lemons for your enjoyment to a beautiful fragrant and abundant collection of flowering plants.

The space
The cottage is a large studio space with a private bath and full kitchen for your use. It easily accommodates up to 4 guests. There' a small patio outside where you can barbecue or sit with your morning cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the quiet of my garden.
There are two beds one queen and one full/ double with Turkish towels and Egyptian cotton sheets for your enjoyment.

Where you’ll be

Vallejo, California, United States

Around the corner from the cottage is a coffee house that specialises in delicious French comfort food.
You can catch the Ferry to San Francisco at Vallejo's Ferry Building which is a 6 minute drive from the cottage.
You can take the Vallejo Ferry to San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 41, which is filled with great things to do. This is also where you can catch the boat to Alcatraz Island (you'll need to make a reservation if this is something you want to do). The Vallejo ferry also lands at the San Francisco Ferry building which is surrounded with great food and within walking distance to Pier 41 and downtown. The Ferry's one-way ticket costs $9.60, children under 5 are free. It's about an hour and a half boat ride to San Francisco.
Vallejo's water front is within walking distance from the cottage. It features 4 restaurants and a nice promenade with a view of the historic Mare Island Ship Yard across the Napa River. Mare Island is a fantastic place to explore.
