Gaudenzia's place is definitely the perfect choice if you want to stay right in the centre of Ragusa. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests and she offers you a lot of information to experience the town like a local. She offers towels, toiletries and snacks. The place has air conditioning which is great in the summer. Thanks for everything, Gaudenzia!

We loved staying at Gaudenzia's place! The facilities were great - room, kitchen and bathroom were clean and comfortable - great value for money. Gaudenzia and her family are very kind and pleasant hosts who are immediately available to help with anything you need before and during your stay. The location is very charming and central to Ragusa Superiore with loads of good restaurants right outside your door. This also means the immediate surroundings are lively and not completely quiet until around midnight but nothing we couldn't sleep through! The walk to the old town is around 25 mins and is lovely. We can highly recommend staying at Gaudenzia's.

A short stay enroute to Comiso airport and the last 30 hours of my Sicilian holiday road trip (which was west side focus this time) .. so only 30 hours here but it was lovely. A super fully equiped apartment with lots of unexpected treats - breakfast foods, fruit and even some Sicilian liquor! I was spoilt! Hosts with support and recommendations - just perfect for my very short visit! I managed to sleep very well ...very comfortable room and ideal for myself as a solo traveller. Plus walked through the local area and enjoyed getting lost in this old area of Ibla - very beautiful, friendly, extremely safe and clean. I also managed to visit the Chiesa del SS Ecce Homo with its 11 alters, stained glass windows, Sesta decor and truly super view from inside the door - looking down the Via Ecce Homo! A very relaxing lunch starting with the most delicious Aperol spritz aperitif and a 3 course meal at the Tinchite Trattoria in Via Sant Anna! A fabulous relaxing end to my Sicilian magical mystery road trip. I now know that I'll be returning to Ragusa when I continue my road trip around the east and central area of Sicily. Parking was not an issue for me (i easily found some street parking by the apartment - with my hosts guidance) so, solo travellers, don't be put off by this but it's worth exploring initially. Perfect! I

Benvenuti!
