A small pop-up green field camping site, offering tents caravans & campervans pitches all with breathtaking views, feel free to choose your own unmarked pitch for a spot of tranquil camping and on-site fishing in the river teign, campfires are allowed in fire pits.
Open for selected weeks in July, August during the summer months to allow you to enjoy the fresh Devonshire air and spectacular views before the site reverts back to it's traditional agricultural use.

The space
Facilities are basic, ideal for a back-to-basics tranquil camping experience. There is a mains water tap providing fresh water, 2 washing up tap with cold water and clean portable toilets. We do not have showers available, so bring your own portable one..
or take a dip in the beautilful River-Teign being sure that children are supervised at all times during your stay. We have exclusive fishing rights on site so feel free to bring your rods. Large groups are welcome but please be mindfull of other campers at all times during your stay.

On the edge of Dartmoor. The village of Dunsford is a 10 minute walk away which incorporates the post office, convenience store and the local pub, "The Royal Oak". Also within easy reach are the beautiful tea rooms at the "Walled Garden" the brand new play park and the village hall. There is a small petrol station en-route. Dunsford is 8 miles from the Cathedral City of Exeter with all the incumbent amenities. Mortonhampstead is only 6 miles away where there's a larger selection of Dartmoor Town shops, lovely little tea room's a butcher with deli and the quaintest little Italian restaurant. Set in the Teign Valley, on the edge of Dartmoor this is an amazing spot for a number of outdoor activities. There are walks from the doorstep, bike trails, fishing, canoeing, rock climbing, horse riding and golf. Haldon Forest, 20 minutes away, is a great woodland park for off road cycling, and cycle and Segway hire is also available. There are many golf courses in the National Park, including the spectacular Bovey Castle, Teign Valley and Stover. Horse riding on the moor can be easily arranged to suit all capabilities, this is fantastic area to ride in. Dartmoor is 95,400 hectares of open access land, great for climbing, letter boxing or just to stroll across the wonderful moorland to see the ponies. A few miles from the house you will find Canonteign Falls, the highest waterfall in England with lakes, children's play areas, assault courses and a cafe.
The closest beach is about 20 minutes drive by car.
The River Teign is renowned for its excellent fishing for Brown Trout, Sea Trout and Salmon.
