Maori Point cottage is nestled in our vineyard, 30km from Wanaka , with spectacular mountain views and access to the Clutha riverbank for walks or picnics. Warm in winter with underfloor heating and fireplace, the living areas include a full cook's kitchen which opens onto a verandah, lawn & native garden. The large upstairs bedroom has king bed and mountain views, downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with garden outlook. A quiet peaceful environment, and a good base for exploring.

The space
Solidly built, with natural timber joinery and high quality double glazing, the cottage has a European feel. An elegant spiral staircase links the two levels. A well-equipped kitchen is central to the living area, with ample crockery, cutlery and glasses for enjoying civilized dining. Electricity is provided by our large solar array (but with mains back-up).

Guest access
The cottage is well removed from our own house, and has its own garden. However, occasionally we need to work in the vineyard nearby. At these times we will be careful not to disturb your privacy.

Other things to note
On occasion, typically in late spring and late autumn, we need to operate our frost fans to protect the vines. We try not to rent the cottage at times when there is a risk of frost fans disturbing you, but sometimes we are caught out. We hope you won't be disturbed if this should happen. (Earplugs can be provided!)
