The unite was well positioned and walking distance to most sightseeing places. There is a Tasco’s around the corner to buy anything you need. There was constant communication from the host and all questions were answered on time.

Excellent location with many surprises, there is a lovely friendly cafe Just round the corner for breakfast , brunch, lunch and tea, an unexpectedly good Chinese restaurant called Shanghai 鵲橋居 nearby, suitable for people who enjoy spicy northern Chinese cuisine, there is also a very popular Vietnam house restaurant 5 minutes walk from the apartment. From the balcony we enjoyed seeing the Firework display from both the tattoo and concert. The apartment inside is tranquil and the temperature is perfect, all beds comfortable . Thank you Danielle.

Sadly this is the first time I have had a bad experience with an airbnb rental! There were problems with this property from the outset. An over frozen freezer, so full of ice that the door wouldn't close, meant we were greeted with the fridge alarm and spend 24 hours defrosting it before we could use it. We communicated this to Danielle and she responded, a bit blasé to be honest but fine. Then the other problems escalated - the entire upstairs smelled really bad, like mould or stale water and there were flies buzzing around the shower. We aired the upstairs which helped a bit but once we ran the shower we realised the problems were extensive as it caused a leak right through the kitchen ceiling through the light fittings (dangerous if nothing else as water an electrics don't mix!!). We contacted Danielle immediately. No reply. For several days. After chasing she said her phone had been stolen however communication via email after that was not exactly quick either. This rental was meant to accommodate 2 grandparents and a family of 4. Four of us had to leave 3 days early because of problems and the grandparents took the downstairs as they couldn't change flights. Danielle didn't seem to care at all. Not replying to repeated emails and claiming there were no problems with the flat. Luckily we took photos of everything, including the buzzing flies in the shower, and will try to resolve this via the aribnb resolution centre. This was our annual family holiday so I am utterly gutted to have it ruined like this with no care, simply or consideration from the owner. Sorry folks but please beware of this property. The location is great and structurally it's a good size but functionally it is badly kept and if smells bother you then be warned.

A lot of things was broken or didn't work. In the two bathrooms many of the spotlights didn't lit/work. None over the mirrors. The curtains wasn't hanging proper, the door to the freezer you couldn't close or have anything in it because it was like a big block of ice (and the two first days the freezers warning bell was ringing), there was just one toilet paper roll in the two bathrooms when we came. It took two or three days before Danielle came with more. No soaps, schampos. One of the wardrobe doors fell down when I try to open it ... Very little good spirits in this apartment, you really had a feeling that no one care about the place. No instructions code/key the safty box and Danielle never answered my questions about that. And we payed 1650 pounds for one week - quite a lot!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4. It's a nice 20-minute walk to the City Centre and the more touristy locations and, closer by, has a collection of fun restaurants if you want to stay away from the big crowds. We recommend the Swedish restaurant across the street! There's also a small grocery store around the corner for those last moment needs. The apartment has plenty of space to spread out, a lovely deck for when it's nice outside, and is well taken care of. We will definitely be back!
