There was a lot of confusion about the check-in process. The host said we could check in early and that the place was ready when our plane landed but then we never heard back about how to get the key or check in to the unit. Once we arrived there was no wifi in the lobby so I had to walk to a store to ask someone for wifi so I could message the host. I didn't get a response for hours. This wouldn't have been an issue if we were just told we couldn't check in until the normal check in time but we were left waiting around for a response. We asked the reception and they said the unit wasn't ready and that we just had to wait.
Few hours later we got into the unit. Towels in bathroom were not clean and not sure the bathroom had even been cleaned. Everything else was fine, we just needed a place to sleep since we had an early morning ferry to another island. If you just need a place to crash I'd say go for it. If you're looking for a place to spend a bunch of time in, there are better options.
Also, the lock on the door is just a door knob lock, no deadbolt.
