Delphine's apartment is very good. Room is nice and cozy. We felt at home when we stayed there. Apartment is very easy to find with short distance to metro. Neighborhood is nice with many good cafes and restaurants. Chilling by the canal with vine or beer is a great choice too. We didn't get to meet with Delphine but the check in and check out process went very well. Thank you Delphine :-)
Delphine was very hospitable and caring for us during our first stay in Paris ever. Before we arrived she made sure whether we had any questions, not only about the apartment but Paris or vacations in France in general. In our case, we had severe difficulties with the train that should get us to Paris but Delphine kept in contact the whole time until we arrived there safely. Even though she wasn't there during our stay it didn't feel like that at all as she continued to make sure that everything in the apartment was to our liking. As it might have already shown, we were really satisfied with our stay at Delphine's. The interior is very interesting and international yet still super homely. Some times it was actually pretty hard to get yourself to leave the house and go sightseeing. We'd have liked to stay there for at least an entire day just lounging around and cooking in the cozy kitchen. What I also recommend is the view over Paris from the hallway. Whether daytime or at night, you can see all important sights there like Eiffel tower and sacré coeur. It truly was a sight to behold. We'd like to stay there again!
Delphine and Fred were very hospitable. We met Fred at the check in and he showed us around the apartment and the awesome views from the rear of the building. Delphine left us a long list of things to see and do in the surrounding areas. The apartment is located almost equidistant between two metro stations, each about 5-7 minutes walk from the building entrance. Just around the block is a Franprix supermarket and a boulangerie where you can buy lovely fresh bread every morning. The picturesque Canal St. Martin is about a mere 3 minute walk away. The apartment itself is definitely very bohemian, with various knick-knacks and ornaments decorating almost every surface. The balcony garden is a lovely touch. It gets lots of natural light, but can also get a little warm in the afternoons in summer, so you'll want to leave the windows open while you're at home. Thanks, Delphine and Fred!
Even though we never got to meet Delphine in person as she was holidaying herself, she kept in touch with us throughout the entire journey of our stay and responded near instantaneously whenever we had any questions. Two thumbs up! Her apartment is stunningly beautiful and surpassed our expectations quite a bit. It was absolutely perfect for our stay and overal a joyful place to come home to after a big day out in Paris. A true artistic hub, or as Delphine describes it; very Boheme! :-)
Delphine and Fred were super helpful upon my arrival and were willing to explain how everything worked and give suggestions for fun things to do in the area. The apartment was slightly more cluttered than it appeared in pictures, but still fit three people comfortably. It was very clean and in a safe neighborhood. Overall, it was a very lovely stay!
