The apartment was great. It is tiny, but the view is just gorgeous. We loved our time here and it was perfect for 2 people. We spent most of our time on the balcony. The apartment is a little over 2 miles from Old Nice, but the walk was fine for us. Loved the location of the apartment on the beach too. Marcella provided some small amenities (water, coffee, soda) for a small fee, but it was much appreciated when we just got there! One thing to note is that in the evening there are prostitutes out on the corners by the apartment. It did not feel unsafe as it is a very busy area, but just something to note. The noise on the Promenade is very loud but if you shut both doors and the metal shutters it was fairly quiet while we slept. We would stay here again!

Response from Marcella:
thanks for the nice words. only a few caveats. the apartment is 55 square meters, and I always come easily in 4. it has a living room with separate double bedroom and kitchen and a small room with a bunk bed. It is not as small whereas in the area are rented studió from 30 square meters. my house in my area is considered a superb apartment my apartment is just 2.2 km from the Marché aux Fleurs (Old Nice), equivalent to 1.36 miles ((SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map). in my apartment all the essentials is free (wi-fi, oil, salt, vinegar, sugar, tea, dried fruit gifts, pepper, chili, hand soap, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.). then there are some extra fee as the coffee capsules, wine, beer, coke, water bottles. as it regards the prostitutes. here in Nice they are regularized, have checks and pay taxes. it is a reality present throughout the city, even in prime areas like mine. can be found in front of the casino, next to the luxury hotel Negresco, near the pedestrian area. In short, everywhere! especially in the most important areas of the city, easy showcase. it is a feature of Nice, not of the corners of my house! as regards the noise is true! the Promenade des Anglais is the main street, right on the seafront, with lots of traffic. but in my house, in all the windows, there are double doors wiht very thick windows antinoise. for who have light sleepers can be all closed and the noise is almost imperceptible. in the house there is air conditioning in all rooms. Nice is indeed a metropolis! I hope to have you back my guest!

Great location! Fabulous views to people watch and enjoy amazing the most sunsets! Extremely convenient to everything - especially the bike rental (VeloBlue) across the street. Marcella is an exceptional communicator. Bertrand, the Guardian, was most pleasant and helpful. Wonderful time we had and enjoying this memorable experience in Nice. Highly recommend this beautiful furnished, appointed apartment on the Promenade facing the Mediterranean Sea. (NOTE: if driving, locate a parking spot on the side streets is a must! Otherwise, expect to pay 1 Euro/hour on the Promenade.

We had a fabulous time vacationing in Nice! Marcella's condo has an amazing view of the beachfront and is right on the promenade de anglais. Marcella was great with responding to my questions prior to arrival. The condo has a small equipped kitchen, bathroom w/ shower and living/dining room. The bedroom has a queen size bed. Bring a plug converter or two as there is only one in the condo. (you can buy one on Amazon) Especially if you want to charge more than one phone at a time. The nice extra is having air conditioning in the living room and dining room as it heats up at night! There are two cafes around the corner where you can get wonderful croissants, pastries & coffee. There is also a grocery store around the corner which was great to stock up on water. You can take the bus down to the old town and Messena Square area right across the street 1 or two blocks down on the promenade. It cost 1.50Euro per person. The bus lines 9&10 will drop you off downtown/old town and you can walk a few blocks down. We used Uber at night to get back b/c taxi's are over priced. There are a few bistro style restaurants a few blocks away if you don't want to go downtown. There are ATM machines around the corner and 2 blocks down. They will give you cash in Euros, but you will need to be sure you inform your bank of your travel, so they don't block you from making withdrawals.

AirBnB review The location of the apartment is great. It’s a 30 minutes drive from the airport, which can be done via Uber. It's on the promenade with a view on the sea, exactly as in the pictures. It is very close to a supermarket (a Carrefour City) and the VeloBlue rental bicycles pickup/dropoff point across the street (pro tip: register yourself on the VeloBlue website so you can rent bikes using your mobile on the spot). The old center is then a 10 minute bike ride away. The only annoying thing about these bikes is that some of them are broken and sometimes there are no bikes available. We didn't meet Marcella but the guardian Bertrand was very friendly and helpful. Communication with Marcella was alway fast and to the point. The cozy apartment is very well equipped. The small, but fully functional, kitchen provided everything we needed. As an extra bonus there was even a washing machine there. The place was nicely decorated and we felt right at home. The two kids loved the bunk beds, it's an inventive solution to gain some extra sleeping spots for kids. They had absolutely no problems and slept excellently there. The air conditioning works great and it is a good relief on hot summer days in August. Due to the traffic in the promenade it can be noisy in the apartment when the terrace doors are open, when closed the noise is gone. As an IT guy I loved having wifi and having a flatscreen smart TV available. We watched movies by streaming it from our laptop directly to the TV or alternatively to the digital TV box (which worked better). The satellite decoder was no use to us and the digital TV decoder provided mostly non-English channels. Not a big issue, we were on holiday. The espresso machine is a Lavazza Mio Mode machine which makes nice espresso. If you don’t want to be charged afterwards for the use of the coffee capsules you can buy them at Galeries Lafayette at the top floor. We would definitely recommend a stay here to everyone. It is suitable for couples as for families with up to two kids.
