Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Surrounded by trees, right on a creek, the Upstate Hideout is the perfect getaway. The recently renovated cabin is set on 4 acres, far from the main road so is privately tucked away in a picturesque backdrop.

While the house is incredibly quiet and secluded, it is also super central - a 5 min drive to both High Falls and Rosendale, and 20 min from Kingston and New Paltz. Incredible hikes in Minnewaska State Park are also a short drive away.

The space
The Upstate Hideout is an updated cabin with tons of charm. With 23' ceilings, the main living space is well-lit and dramatic with soaring windows but also cozy with a great wood-burning stove.

Every bedroom has its own full bathroom, so the house is really ideal for 3 couples sharing the space with tons of privacy. One of the bedrooms is in the walkout basement and has its own access so could be totally separate from the main space if needed.

Please do read our house manual prior to booking. The house is older and can be finicky so we provided as much information as we can to ensure we get it back in great condition. Please ask us any questions you may have!

Where you’ll be

High Falls, New York, United States

The tiny hamlet of High Falls is a weekender's delight where cool shops, old buildings, excellent restaurants, and cozy places to stay nestle beside the ancient locks of the Delaware and Hudson Canal. You can see some of the locks right in town; a brochure (available at the D&H Canal Museum) outlines a walking tour. In fall, pick your own apples or taste freshly pressed cider at one of the local orchards.
