An inviting and comfortable townhome centrally located in a serene, peaceful canyon, with plenty of space to relax, just a short drive from the major attractions of San Diego.

The space

Come enjoy San Diego from a central location in a quiet and safe canyon setting. This comfortable modern townhome has plenty of room to relax. Take a break and grill up some food, or take a 10-15 minute drive and be downtown or at the beach!

This comfortable, modern space is tucked away in serene Tecolote canyon. What makes it so great? It's close to everything while still giving you privacy and the ability to get a great night's sleep. You'll need a car to get around from here, but it's only a 10-15 minute drive to all the major attractions: downtown, mission valley shopping malls, restaurants, the zoo, balboa park, the beach, and anything else you'd need. You won't have to worry about parking either, as the townhome has a two-car attached garage (there will be space for one car, but if you need both spaces, that can be accommodated as well). This is a great launching pad and well suited to families or couples, or anyone who is looking to explore San Diego.

The townhome is spacious and relaxing with the most comfortable couches and beds I could find. You'll love relaxing on the couch, or sitting on the patio having your coffee while looking out over the eucalyptus trees that surround the canyon the complex is tucked into.

Into food? Me too! Just a short drive away are plenty of amazing eating options, including my favorite pho, sushi, korean bbq, and chinese food restaurants in San Diego. I'm always happy to help guide guests to the best places in San Diego to see, drink, and eat, so feel free to ask for recommendations!

You will also have access to lighted tennis courts and a swimming pool at the end of the street.

Unfortunately I won't be around during your stay, but I am always happy to provide advice on where to go, what to see, and especially what to eat!

You'll love the convenient location of my townhome. You'll also love being close to kearny mesa and clairemont, home to some of the best dining options in San Diego, especially if you like any type of Asian cusine.

My place is only about 15 minutes from the airport.

Mike's place was awesome! Very peaceful community and it is 15 minutes away from EVERYTHING. My phone had great reception throughout my stay. My family and I had great stay.

Mike was very kind and communicative and sent a manual a few days earlier to ease our check-in process. The manual had great suggestions for things to do in San Diego. The house is in a good location and was very clean. We had a great stay and will definitely return next time we are in the city. Thank you Mike!

The welcome document contained everything we needed to know. Having a quiet place to relax was amazing. On the second day, our youngest son kept referring to Mike's place as "home". The location was great, and the home was tastefully decorated and very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Mike was the perfect host. After a long trip, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift. The condo was just as described. Unlike other reviews, we had no issues with the WiFi at all. The location was perfect! Everything we needed was close, but the location was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely seek out this house again for my next trip to San Diego.

Overall Mike's apartment is a pretty nice place to stay in San Diego when staying with 4-5 people. A few drawbacks about the place is that the area is a cell phone dead zone and the wifi was going in and out the whole time of our stay. Also no dish rack to dry dishes and no kettle or hot water heater. Also the smaller bedroom upstairs gets very stuffy and hot during the summer time. For affordability the place was great.

Response from Mike:
Thanks for the feedback Nathan. I'll definitely pick up a dish rack and kettle--good suggestions (and just so no one is confused, there is a hot water heater, just not one specifically to cook small amounts of water for cooking). Cell reception is not perfect at my place, but to call it a "dead zone" is a bit much. I often work from home and haven't had too many problems. Also, it's a shame you said you had problems with the wifi; I haven't had any other guests have issues with it, but had I known I would have been happy to help fix that. I appreciate the tips on how to improve the space for future guests. Best, -Mike
