Other things to note

The apartment is beautiful and clean and Chiara herself made it a very pleasant stay as well. Thanks to her, my boyfriend and I visited Cefalù which we thought was much prettier than Palermo, which is also due to the size of the cities, Cefalù is a lot cuter I would say... Chiara also gave us tips for good restaurants and even made a reservation for us as our Italian language skills aren't so good. Thank you Chiara!

We had a great time at Chiaras apartment! The apartment looks exactly like the pictures show and is very clean and lovely decorated. One major advantage is its location right in the city center surrounded by great restaurants, bars and cafes. All of Palermos sights can be also explored by foot. Chiara was a nice host and gave us several recommendation on places to visit- Thank you again!

We had a lovely stay at Chiara's place. The apartment was perfectly located. The building itself is located in a calm street. However, when you walk a minute further, you will find lively streets with nice bars, restaurants and shops. Also, Palermo Central Station is only an 8-minute walk away. The room was nice; we were very happy it was equipped with air conditioning. The private bathroom looks amazing and had everything we needed. I would absolutely encourage you to stay at Chiara's place. She is a very helpful host and is happy to tell you about nice places to visit. When one of us got sick, she and her sister were glad to help with anything we needed. She's a five-star-host.

A true host and an authentic Sicilian experience. Chiara was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The room was comfortable, with air conditioning and clean. We had our own bathroom which is great with all the essentials. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook when we fancied a night in, and had all the equipment. The flat is modern, on the top floor, with a great balcony view of the mountains. Chiara was very helpful in giving us tips on what to do and where to go by public transport and by car, as well as the best places for food and traditional dishes. The flat is located a short walk from Palermo central station, supermarket and high street shops. We went during peak season and it was great to use Palermo as a base to visit around the island. This was a perfect end to a month trip in Italy. Thank you Chiara, we look forward to staying at your apartment again soon. Be sure to try her home restaurant, the food and portions are great. And the home made liquor is a must.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It's cosy and clean. Private bathroom in the room with nice shower. Chiara is very friendly and provides help and recommendations when needed. There are two lovely cats. To enter the apartment you have to climb steep stairs. We had to pay € 20 extra because of check in after 8pm, we weren't aware of this in the beginning though it is stated in the description. Parking is €5 a day, except for Saturday's and Sunday's. unfortunately not free in the neighbourhood. However, the apartment is in walking distance of the city centre.

Response from Chiara:
Dear Emma, €5 a day need to buy the pass for ZTL: it's a special permission to go in the city centre, and not for parking (that is free). Obviously you need this permission even you have only parked your car, for the only reason you're in the centre. And I live in the city centre: I am at three minutes of Quattro Canti that is considered the exactly centre of city.
