BIG BEAR GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT

You are a guest of Big Bear Lake and staying in a Residential Area. You are expected to respect the neighborhood and those near you.
The first call for disturbing the peace or exceeding the occupancy or number of cars will result in a $75.00 charge to the card the reservation was made under.
Any call after that will result in ejection from the premises with no refund.

RESPECT NEIGHBORHOOD TRANQUILITY. Disturbing the peace of the Residential Neighborhood you are occupying is a city ordinance violation. Please keep noise to a minimum, including children playing loudly, parties, and any loud noises between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am.

ABIDE BY OCCUPANCY LIMITS. Each property is licensed to accommodate a maximum amount of people, DAY AND NIGHT. Overcrowding is dangerous, disrespectful, and illegal. Please do not exceed the designated amount.

DISPOSE OF TRASH PROPERLY. "Clean Bear Sites" are available nearby all residential areas. These sites are funded by homeowners through local property taxes. Please take all household trash items to these sites; not doing so is disrespectful and a violation of the code of conduct.

PARK CARS APPROPRIATELY. The Big Bear Lake Ordinance limits the number of cars parked at each property, and this number is displayed on a sign on each house. Parking more cars is a city ordinance violation. Please use common sense – Do not block streets or corners and keep all cars parked on driveways. During snow conditions, avoid large fines: do not block plows or park anywhere on the street.

DO NOT DISPOSE OF ASHES FROM BBQ'S AND FIREPLACES. It is against Five Star Vacation Rentals’ policy for guests to remove or dispose of Fireplace or BBQ ashes. Our Housekeeping Department will properly and safely dispose of all ashes. If you need ash removal, please contact our office. Any improper disposal on ashes will result in charges equal to the amount of the security deposit for this cabin.

ANY VIOLATION OF THIS CODE OF CONDUCT BY ANYONE IN YOUR PARTY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE CHARGE AND/OR EJECTION OF EVERYONE WITHOUT ANY REFUND, AND COULD INCLUDE ADDITIONAL CITY IMPOSED FINES OR OTHER SANCTIONS.

This is an amazing cabin for large groups! Located in a prime area with golfing, hiking, and everything beautiful Big Bear has to offer. Check in was super easy and the place was amazing. Perfect for a rustic getaway with all the modern amenities you could think of. I highly recommend this place!

The house is good, really close to the ski resort but was impossible to feel confortable in a house that is for sure was never been cleaned in a long time! To try to walk on the deck we had to take a bunch of snow by ourselves. It took 5 people and more than an hour to get this done. That because the person whom suppose to be going to do the job never showed, despite Kevin told us that they were coming "right away." Well, he told us this more than once. That was only the first issue. Just to resume, the house is FILTHY! We had to wash and clean everything, and I mean everything, in way to be able to use the house. Appliances were broken, completly filthy, there was all kind of garbage under the couches, beds, drawers (toilet paper, cups, gum, glass, dust, many dust, under the living room carpet there was more trash and dust than I can see in 5 years not cleaning a place. And one of the most disguisting thing I ever saw in a rental house: there was lots of and pubic hair on the bed sheets! We had to go out to buy new sheets so my kids could lay on the bed. This is inacceptable! All these issues was imediatly talk to Kevin (I have all the messages saved.) that just said that were sending the cleaning people but, once again, nobody went there. I stayed at the house waiting and missed 2 already paid ski days with my family because the next day he said again that people were going to clean, but again nobody went. We came all the way from Brazil to have the most frustating trip.

The process for getting the keys was painless and quick. The house was everything described and more. The jacuzzi was working and we did a lot of grilling on the outdoor grill while we were there. There was ample space for people to sleep and enough rooms for couples so they could have privacy. The game room was above the garage and attached to the house by stairs so people could retire and not hear the sounds of the gameroom activities. Only gripe was the cleanliness of the cabin. Cobwebs and grime could be easily found, evidence of mice as well. Overall an awesome experience and a great way to spend the 4th of July, cant thank the guys at FSVR enough!

Great cabin experience! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The image you see with the garage is actually an entertainment room. Pool table, TV, surround sound, mini bar, and plenty of sitting area, and with a full bathroom. Then you head up stairs and enter the house. The house is very cool. There is plenty of room to kick back in the kitchen, living area and best of all the outdoor patio area with a stunning view of Bear Mountain. The master suite is the best. King bed, with a fireplace overlooking the Big Bear resort. It's minutes away from Summit, and shopping. Highly recommend staying for family or just friends.

This cabin was fantastic. Clean, a great location, ample dishes and other supplies, and with plenty of room for the 14 of us. Kevin and the team at Five Star were great at answering my questions, and they even let us have late checkout, which was great because we truly didn't want to leave this amazing place. It was secluded enough for our large group to feel like we had the whole mountain to ourselves, but not too secluded where we couldn't head to the store for groceries or whatnot. We were there in Summer, so no need for the slopes, but they were literally in the back yard so I bet this place would be even more awesome in the Winter. My friends and I definitely want to go back!!
