My awesome apartment in Long Island City (1 subway stop from Midtown Manhattan) will be a great base for your trip to New York. While close to most attractions of the city, the neighborhood is a local gem.
Please choose CONTACT HOST before hitting "Book" button. It helps a lot to know your general plans, your arrival and departure schedule. Please note that while check in and check out are stated as "Flexible" it only means we will need to discuss each reservation in detail.
My apartment is sometimes available for rental when I am away from home. This means you will feel like you are visiting a friend or a family instead of a faceless hotel room.
The apartment comfortably suits 4 adults, maybe 1 more child. There is a queen bed in bedroom, a sofa that pulls into a twin size bed and a queen size mattress.
Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and dining.
Bathroom has toilet, sink and bath tub (standard US size, which is a bit shorter and shallower than the ones Europeans are used to).
TV with 20 basic cable channels, blue ray player, Wii.
If you are an independent traveler and know your ways around then you are all set. If you need any advice on getting to my place, choices to eat out or anything else - please feel free to ask, I'll be glad to help out.
Guests will have the apartment all to themselves for the duration of rental.
Building does not have elevator, the apartment is the third floor walk up, but stairs are wide and comfortable, it's only two flights up.
Interaction with guests
I will [almost] always be available via email or phone for any questions you may have.
I will leave you emergency contact for anything serious in case you can not get a hold of me.
No smoking anywhere in the building.
No pets allowed.
Please respect our neighbors (especially between hours 10pm and 8am).
Please be kind to my apartment and respect my privacy: applying a "would I like it being used/accessed by strangers if it were mine" rule should be a good guidance.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
