Interaction with guests

We are very happy to provide whatever assistance we can to our guests including guidance on attractions in the area, and transport locally where required. We live on site and are always there to greet them on arrival. We are always keen to ensure the accommodation is clean and well-prepared for them and, where possible, endeavour to provide them with any items they may have left behind or need. We are interested in our guests and keen to learn more about them and their travels. However, we are also conscious that some people prefer to be left alone to enjoy the peace and quiet of their surroundings here, and are happy to honour their wishes in that regard.

Very nice accommodation within walking distance of the main kaiteriteri beach and restaurants. Ray and Gwen were very helpful and accommodating, especially since we had a change of guests requiring an extra bed at very short notice.

There is nothing not to love about Ray & Gwen's place. They are so incredibly welcoming, with lots of local knowledge about the National Park, only a short drive away. Lovely and quite, out of the holiday time craziness of Kaiteriteri. Would definitely stay again!

This is a very tidy, neat and clean lodging with plenty of room for 2 people. A lot of added extras in terms of toiletries and other necessities you may have forgotten. Super friendly hosts. Nice deck, sunny and relaxing. Surprisingly private.
