We are located just 3 kms to the Wanaka Township. Just a 20 minute walk or 6 minute drive.

Our listing is for a Queen bed so a maximum of two people can be accommodated. The linen provided is professionally laundered by a local eco friendly commercial laundry.

We have tried to think of all the traveller comforts that will make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

There is no kitchen available. You do have tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge, Nespresso Machine, microwave and a selection of crockery, glasses and cutlery to prepare an easy meal or heat "ready meals" or take always.

There is a very good Laundromat in the village. You do have a foldaway clothes line & pegs, iron and ironing board.

We will always endeavour to greet and meet. A Key lock box is installed if we are unable to be here on your arrival. As it is our home we will be present during your stay, our living area is on the first floor.

We are happy to offer advice and have a chat to our guests but generally we will leave you to your privacy and enjoyment of the Wanaka area. In your Guest area there are brochures, maps and information on "what to see and do" whilst you are here and we are happy to make suggestions. Or you can visit the ISITE shop in Ardmore Street for more information.

We had so much space it was like an apartment with bedroom, a great bathroom and a living area. Everything needed has been thought of and made available. Vicki was welcoming and very helpful. The place was so comfortable we opted to head back early on our last day and enjoy the view from the patio.

Vicki and Greg were lovely hosts. Their space was large and so well equipped. The bathroom and shower were particularly lovely - a comfortable shower is so appreciated after long days of hiking and biking! The kitchen area was well equipped with enough snacks, coffee and breakfast items to help mitigate some of the other costs we otherwise would have incurred to feed ourselves. We loved everything about this place.

This is true advertising. It IS a spacious hidden gem. We had the whole downstairs apartment, tastefully appointed, a deck with a lovely view of the garden and the mountains, a bedroom with a dresser, a small table, a big bathroom, a cosy living-cum-dining room, our own small fridge, a microwave, a Nespresso machine! As to our welcome, Vicki came out to greet us as we got out of the car, gave us good tips as to where to go for dinner, a piece of chocolate each at our bedside table, 2 apples on the dining room table, a selection of cereals and jams and honeys. Just don't forget to buy bread for yourselves or you won't get to taste the goodies. :-) Vicki was very easy to communicate with, answered all our queries before and during our stay. A lovely stay in a quiet home.

What a great place to stay! Vicki's home in Wanaka was probably one of the best b&bs we visited in our NZ trip. Everything from a to z was well thought of, super comfortable and convenient. First of, the place is huge - you have your own private bedroom (very comfortable bed), ensuite bathroom (great shower!) And spacious living area which also contains a small basic kitchen for fixing breakfast or light meals.  Second, the views from the balcony over the lake and mountains are really beautiful.  Third, we had a lot of privacy and almost felt like its a detached house/unit (in reality, a small corridor connects the guest part of the house to the main part) In general, this is a very recommended base for exploring the beautiful wanaka area. We were delighted to return to it every evening after a busy day of hiking. Highly recommended!

Our passion is travel, food (we both are good cooks), wine and sport (watching)! We also enjoy a good book, movie and both share a love of contemporary art which over the years has grown into quite a collection featured in our home. We live in a beautiful part of the South I…
