Random facts about me: I am an avid book reader, nature & animal lover, I have to steer clear of the local animal shelter mostly because there's a great chance I won't come out of there empty handed. I once rescued a 1 eyed white rabbit from a reptile store, long story. The best money I’ve ever spent is on travel and experiences. I enjoy planning very long road trips, these trips are usually mapped out around areas or things of interest, such as art museums, botanical gardens, beaches, lighthouses, seeking out outdoor murals on old buildings, unique coffee shops, donut shops (Voodoo & Hurts yum), restaurants, my new favorite the Whiskey Cake, $5 Fresh Mimosas and under Batters, The Cure OMG. Also ----> unusual landmarks, like the Blue Whale of Catoosa, I look for renovated and repurposed by-gone gas stations, Gothic stained glass windows that are prominent in old churches, topiary gardens, touring historic mansions. During the summer months you can catch me at an outdoor concert usually drinking my favorite tall can of Bud Light, dilly dilly ! I get excited anytime I get to drive through a tunnel, walk over a bridge or drive on one, especially over large bodies of water, search Skyway Sunshine bridge, what a thrill! Odd thing about me I rarely go to funerals, they give me panic attacks. I do however like visiting old historic cemeteries, and have a fascination with skulls, is that weird ? In Atlanta they have Oakland cemetary, right across the street there is a resturant called Six feet under Pub & Fish house, very clever. Once while driving through midtown Manhattan, NY looking for Times Square, we were stopped & waiting on a man to cross the street, He was giving off urban camper vibes and cheerfully shouting out, "Who says I can't have my cake and eat it too". I was so focused on his yelling that I barely noticed the large cake he was carrying. OK, so now I’m hungry for cake and his attitude was everything, I Love NYC ! I appreciate a leisurely train ride, especially a wine train & candid photography. I hike, bike, kayak and play tennis, I need to stay busy and productive, even while watching a Chiefs game you will find me knitting, spinning wool or playing a competitive game of Monopoly. One of my favorite quotes: “Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. Stephen King
