I stayed at Yumi's for three months, the place was great!
It is a large single bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a desk, nightstand and lamp and enough storage space . The bathroom and kitchen areas are shared with one other host and are cleaned regularly by the host.
The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, water heater, plates and cutlery.
The bathroom has a shower with great pressure and temperature and some cabinets.
When you first get to the room you get clean towels, a set of keys, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and the wifi password.
In general the place is modern, newly remodeled, clean and quiet.
It is a remodeled basement so the only windows in the room are tiny and high (not a lot of natural light) but it wasn't a big issue for me because I could still open the windows and get fresh air.
It is located in Nob Hill, very close to bus stops (not so close to bart), Trader Joe's, Walgreens, CVS, Staples, and restaurants are less than two blocks away.
There is on street parking which is free during the night.
It is located close to Polk street which has a dedicated bike lane along most of its way which was a big plus for me since I biked almost everywhere (and I kept my bike in the room).
The only downside is that there where a lot of homeless people around (unfortunately like most places in SF), but still the location is safe.
Yumi was an excellent host, she is really nice and always eager to help. There wasn't much interaction with her (she doesn't live in the place) but she was always reachable by phone. She made an effort to make you feel comfortable and make sure everything was good with the place.
I contacted her mostly to get a change of sheets when I needed them or the get change for laundry.
If I ever come back to San Francisco, I will definitely come back. The place, it has all the amenities I needed even for a longer stay.
There is no TV but I had a Netflix membership and good internet access so I found a way to work around it.
