The space
3 story cottage built in 1770. In a World heritage site to preserve the legacy of it's ties to the industrial revolution.
Stunning scenery with views from the house and patio. Great local walks including the Chevin, an old Roman road, which can be seen from the house itself.
A 20 minute drive to Cromford, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, and 45 minute drive to Chatsworth a House and Gardens. The Peak District can easy be accessed from the house via the A6 which runs nearby. One of our local pubs, The Holly Bush, is a 16th century hostelry which serves a range of real ales from jugs.
If you are a city person, Derby is a 20 minute bus ride away and Nottingham 45 minutes. There are 2 local train stations which can take you via Nottingham and Derby to anywhere in the UK.
My home is ideally suited to anyone who would like to explore the Peak District, a beautiful National Park, with something for everyone.
Whilst I am happy to host, I would also be happy to let out the whole house for a family.
I am a social media junkie, so communication is not going to be a problem! I will be happy to give any advice or tips where needed but equally recognise that this is your break so I will keep a respectful distance. Should you wish to rent the whole house, I will be here to welcome you.
I have travelled the world independently and have friends in many countries. I look forward to meeting you!
Milford is a beautiful place to live with something for everyone. See guest access section for more information.
