Here at Whitewater Farm we welcome everyone that would like to spend some time on our farm in this incredibly special Pop-Up Camper that is only open three months of the year: Spring, Summer and Fall.

We have busy lives on the farm taking care of our crops and animals and children, but we enjoy visitors of all sorts and are so thankful to share our farm this way.

The space
Welcome to our Pop-Up Camper! It is the third Airbnb listing that we have on our farm, and although it is the smallest it is huge on character.

We created the space to host guests so that everyone can get a taste of the outdoors with the comfort of an amazing bed for a good nights sleep.

We have a space heater which very good at heating the space during those chillier spring and fall evenings (but you’ll still need to use our down comforter) or you can choose to unzip all of the double paned canvas walls so that the bug screen will only let in the cool night air in the summer. It is a three season camper so the walls are canvas and it’s not entirely draft proof but for the majority of climates, it is ideal for experiencing the outdoors. Think of it as upscale camping.

We find it really important to clean and sanitize all of our airbnb listings and we allow 24-48 hours or more between bookings for this purpose. For any dishes/utensils that you use, please put them in the provided blue bowl so we can run them through our dishwasher with a hot water cycle. We use duvet covers with each comforter and launder them in hot water and soap between all guests, as well as all the sheets and we sanitize all commonly touched surfaces per Airbnb’s cleaning protocols.

Obviously, there is power running to the camper so you can charge your devices overnight and turn on the small grill plate in the morning to heat up water for our amazing French Press coffee bar.

Expect to find the Pop-Up Camper tucked away behind our main house. It is closest to the hammocks and the outdoor bathroom which is well-maintained and stocked with essentials including a lantern at night.

Guests are also more than welcome to come into our main house to use the bathroom and/or a shower. We also have an outdoor shower which is available as long as the temperatures are above freezing. There is nothing better than looking up at the open sky while warm water pours on you!

Expect to hear the sound of our rooster in the morning and our free range chickens may just show up on the doorstep of the camper to welcome you to a new day. We have friendly goats and two friendly dogs on the property.

There are several hiking trails so that you can navigate the 156 acre property that we live on. We are also within just a few short miles of local restaurants and gas stations as well as any other amenity that you may need.

Guest access
156 acres of our woods and fields.

Other things to note
We do not have a refrigerator in the camper but we do provide an (off brand) Yeti cooler so that you can store any cold items that you may be traveling with. Bring your own ice.

Smoking is not permitted in the camper but is permitted on the property. Please place the remains in the recycling bin once stomped out and cooled off.

A fire extinguisher is located in the Pop-Up Camper in the cabinet under the bed.

Hi folks! My name is Blakslee (pronounced Blake-slee) and I was born and raised on a working potato & grain farm in northeastern Pennsylvania, which has greatly shaped my character and passions over the years. For the past decade, I traveled across the country numerous times for work, yet considered my tiny apartment in Philadelphia to be my homebase, but in 2012 I returned to the town in which I was raised with my husband in order to start our life together on the farm. My husband is now a full time farmer and I opened a horse boarding stable and riding lesson program in order to put the 1890's dairy barns back into business. The farm has three historic farmhouses located upon it (the oldest one dates back to 1840!), so I've also found myself deep in the middle of renovating and redecorating them as well. The farmhouses, farm buildings, and the land are chock full of history and my husband and I are so proud to call this area of Pennsylvania"home". We look forward to sharing it with you! My life motto is: "I will have spent half my life in the city and half in the country, having enjoyed every second of each."

During your stay
Running the farm and horse stable (as well as raising our sons) keeps my husband and I quite busy, but we are always available if guests have any questions and we spend most evenings on site.
