Interaction with guests

I speak english fluently.
I like having a tour in the neighborhood with my guests to show them around the Place des Terreaux, Opera house and fine arts museum, the Place Sathonay with its small cafés and restaurants, and of course the historical Renaissance Vieux-Lyon.

Guillaume was a great host. He met us on time and was very helpful showing us the flat and giving us local information. We were lucky and managed to park directly outside, but if you arrive from around 5pm onwards you should get parked close by. The flat is very central and on the river very close to the old town. Although the building has a bar downstairs and there are other bars and restaurants on the street, it is on the third floor, with thick stone walls and facing away from the street, so it was actually very quiet. The old town, bars, restaurants, cathedral and other amenities are easily walkable. On the Sunday morning we walked down to the food market, which is a short distance away. Lyon has a public bike hire scheme, so you can hire a bike to get further afield.

Guillaume is a very good host. He welcomed me to Lyon with a dinner in his apartment and even drove me to the airport for my departure. The apartment is very comfortable and a very good value. I definitely will rent this apartment again when I return to Lyon. Thanks again Guillaume!

Guillaume est un hôte merveilleux! We had a good time in his very nice flat, he renovated by himself. (I loved the shower very much) It is a very quiet place, like hidden from the busy city-live. I'm living in Lyon now and I am quite sure that we will keep in contact. He gave me - and is still giving - an introduction into the french way of live:)

Guillaume was a great host. Very flexible and quickly responding. Unfortunately I had no time to meet him again, because I was only staying for a few days. The apartment was just beautiful. I loved the design and choice of interieur. I can highly recommend Guillaume and this flat. You couldn't really ask for a better location in Lyon.

Prompt request responses, very flexible and accommodating with arrival times and arrangements the admin was good. The apartment is in an excellent location for the centre of town - and is far back from the road - so no traffic noise. It is a very comfortable proper bed and a stylish clean shower room with separate toilet. There is an nespresso machine! It is all one living room like a studio flat and the building is nice example of the old town of Lyon. It is also very close to six great breakfast places at St Paul's square and very handy for exploring the old and new town areas. Thanks for making our stay easy!!

Guillaume is incredibly welcoming and made our arrival, and orienting the neighborhood, easy. The apartment is simple and is a good value. The bed is comfortable. Very easy to walk to other parts of the city, and is right on the Seine.

Guillaume has been kind, reachable, and even offered some home made soup in case we could not book in the Bistrot des Maraîchers, opposite the Saone River. He is a great host, and I cannot recommend his flat (and his welcome) more.
