The place was fine, lots of space. Location: as close as it gets to mount Baker! The house is part of a 'neighborhood' - the amenities could be nice, esp. with kids (pool, playground, games), but it is not a quiet isolated cabin in the woods, if that's what you're looking for. Th…

Hi Tamar: Thank you for your review for family Cabin #51! Yes, practically all of the cabins in our area are located within planned resort-residential and resort-recreational developments. Cabins that sit all by themselves on large acreage are virtually non-existent in our area...sorry if that's what you were expecting. The gated "Snowline" development in which Cabin #51 is located includes a plethora of common area summer-use amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool, tennis, basketball, and pickle ball courts, a children's fishing pond, etc. Although you didn't indicate to us beforehand that you seeking a more private setting, cabins found in the nearby non-gated Glacier Springs development tend to be a bit more secluded...but you still have neighboring cabins. Next time, contact us beforehand, and we'll try to steer you in a more satisfactory direction. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again the next time that your travel plans include Mt. Baker :) Happy trails, Dan

Beautiful cabin, lots of space and a lovely well-stocked kitchen to cook big family style meals. Check-in was a breeze, and we actually really enjoyed having no WiFi and no service! Definitely got some solid quality time in because of it. The pizza place just down the road was su…

Hi Naomi: Thank you for the great review for family Cabin #51! We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable stay. Yes, the absence of wifi and cell phone reception tends to make people reconnect without the aid of electronics. Once they adjust to it, most people end-up enjoying it. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was definitely a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again the next time that your travel plans bring you back to Mt. Baker :) Happy trails, Dan

The home was very spacious and clean. It is located in a really nice gated community that is great for families with kids. Very clear instructions were given and check-in/out process was very smooth.

Our group had a cozy stay. The house worked very well for a group of 8 adults - The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances/utensils/enough cups etc, with a large dining area/table and spacious living room with fireplace.

Good location and lots of space! Bedding is outdated but as pictured in the photos. Dishwasher was not working and seemed to be broken for some time. Very close to "Chair 9" and bar/pizza place.

Hi Matt: Thank you for your review for Cabin #51! We're glad to hear that you had an enjoyable time at the cabin. Sorry for the dishwasher issue that you experienced. It appears that the previous Guest confused the dishwasher with a garbage disposal, as we found a chicken bone had stopped the impeller from turning. A quick fix, and everything was operating normally. Please remember that we are here for you during your stay. If you experience any reasonable issues, just give us a quick call, and we'll have our maintenance person take a look at things. Thanks again Matt. We look forward to hosting you again in the future. Happy trails, Dan
