Come to relax, sightsee, work, or tour Washington, DC and stay in a comfortable, private guest suite that has all the amenities of home while you're visiting. Located close to the Catholic University Basilica in NE DC, our lovely basement in-law suite has a full bathroom, bedroom, living room, and kitchen. There is plenty of street parking and a beautiful tree-filled backyard to make your stay warm and welcoming. Your host is a photographer, filmmaker, and hospitality professional.

The space
Entrance to the basement space is through the REAR private entrance of the home (accessed by walking around the house to the Right side). Plenty of USB chargers throughout the unit are available and the unit is set up for both tourism and work trips equally. Stay for 3 nights or more and ask us to set a fire in our chiminea and enjoy a cozy, private fire (and perhaps a visit from our friendly dog). We can't promise the weather, so please don't book planning on a fire, but if we can accommodate, we're more than happy to.

Our neighborhood is nice and quiet. There is plenty of street parking, friendly neighbors, and trees. Bus lines connect the neighborhood to the metro and to destinations across town and there is no shortage of car-share services to get you where you need to go.

During your stay
During the pandemic, we'll be very hands-off. Bedding and towels will be laundered and replaced between guests and the counters, floors, and carpets will be cleaned. The kitchen is stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, and cookware and the Kuerig is stocked with coffee selections and sugar that is, of course, complimentary. There is a filtered water pitcher in the fridge which is emptied, washed, and refilled between guests.
