About this listing
A traditional, cosy and welcoming apartment with two double bedrooms - ideal for families and groups of friends! This flat is my home and is filled with my books, art and teapots - I love living here and I hope you love it too!
Situated in a very peaceful area, although minutes from the heart of the trendy and upmarket West End of Glasgow, the neo-gothic University spire and Kelvingrove Park.
My home is a bright and cosy traditional Glasgow flat situated in the heart of the vibrant West End of Glasgow.
Built in the 1870s, there are wooden floors and original windows in the living room, and a fully modernised kitchen and bathroom.
The flat has two bright and airy double rooms and comfortably sleeps four. There is a sofa and dining area in the living room, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, and my (extensive) collection of tea and ground coffee for your use.
This flat is perfect for a family or for some friends travelling together - it's ideally situated for a visit to Glasgow in the upmarket West End, and is very close to the Subway, Partick train station and main bus routes.
The entire flat is yours when you stay here! Please make yourself at home, and enjoy the books, games and films - just please leave the flat as you found it!
Interaction with guests
Sadly I will not be in Glasgow this summer - I'm away on my own travels, which is why my home is available!
I will, however, only be a phone call away. I'd like to call and speak to all my guests personally, answer any questions you might have, and go over arrival arrangements. I have extensive family and friends in Glasgow - so if there are any issues at all there will always be someone on hand to help out!
This is my home, and I'd love you to treat it as if it were yours! Settle in, feel free to use everything here, browse the books, play the games, and have an amazing time in Glasgow!
Pets are very welcome providing they're well behaved (no chewing or messes please!)
I'd request that you please don't smoke inside the flat - there is an enclosed back courtyard for your use.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
I am a slightly-more-mature student, and am lucky enough to live in a gorgeous flat in the West End of Glasgow with my partner, Tom. We hate to think of our home being lonely whilst we're away on one of our many trips, so we love having guests to make sure the flat is happy!
I'm from the Isle of Skye and would be happy to advise you on travel plans for the Highlands and Islands, so ask away if you're heading further North after Glasgow!
Tom and I are both crazy about travelling anywhere new, learning languages (I'm learning Spanish and Urdu, Tom's learning Japanese), and food!
We have a slight obsession with Miyasaki films, Indian cooking and (obscurely) zebra finches - of which we have two (don't worry - they'll be away on their holidays during your stay!)
I'm studying literature and politics, and am hoping for a career in either NGO's and sustainable development or just life-long travelling, and Tom's studying history and hopes to go on to teach.
