Superb location (except for parking, see note below). Good sized, fully equipped home and garden. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of kids toys and bits n bobs that younger children can keep entertained with. Nice clean bathrooms. I could not get any email or messaging responses from host after I arrived, so definitely use the phone if you need to make contact. Improvements needed: The hosts should fully detail the parking situation in their property profile given that they don't have any off-street parking. It is somewhat misleading to say free parking is available around the corner and it was time consuming and a little irritating to have to go searching Toronto city parking ordinances to get clarification. Bottom line: you need a permit if you intend to park anywhere on the streets within Toronto for more than 3 hrs without running the risk of getting ticketed. These permits whilst fairly inexpensive (~$30 a week) are NOT guaranteed (only as space available) and you need your license plate number to apply for the permit - so this cannot be done in advance if you plan to rent a vehicle there. If your permit application is refused for any period then you have a pain in the ass situation. Host did say that in a bind we could park in the neighbors driveway for a short time and he also kindly offered to pay for any tickets I may get on the street, but at the end of the day I could really do without parking hassles like this when trying to enjoy a vacation. Guests should be made crystal clear on the parking rules in advance! The basement level carpet and sofa upholstery needs serious cleaning. The sofa had been moved from the living room down into basement (so only two seats and no sofa in living room unlike what is shown in photos) and so the basement was really the only place for entire family to sit and relax together in the evening, but cleanliness made it less than comfortable. Found an extra bed cover to throw over sofa. Dryer was very temperamental and needs maintenance. In all, a good place to stay, however, for the price, hosts should address points above.

This place is awesome especially for a large family it's in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything 15 min from the CN tower aquarium and shopping also the beach the home was very very clean and very comfortable thank you for making our stay comfortable and easy just be aware that parking is difficult in Canada all together just not certain neighborhoods

The house is as nice as viewed in the pictures and very well located within Toronto; however wasn't properly clean when we arrived, which was a bit of a turndown, yet we had a wonderful time.

We were a 6-person 3-generation family group and we had a good stay in this lovely house. We enjoyed sitting in the little backyard and the spacious kitchen area. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. We were able to find parking nearby. We were invited to use condiments, coffee, and other foods left in the house and the hosts left a good annotated list of places to shop for other things we needed, along with suggestions for things to do and places to go in Toronto. We encountered some plumbing issues with one of the toilets and a shower, which the hosts were able to address fairly quickly. They were reasonably easy to reach when we had questions. The stairways are a little steep, so this house would be somewhat challenging for people with mobility issues. Overall, it’s a very pleasant place to stay.

Roberta's place is amazing, with a nice open concept kitchen which makes it a great space to hang out. The house was clean when we arrived, and the place looks like the photos with the exception of the kid's bedroom that had two separate beds, but when we arrived it was actually a bunk bed. It's a bit difficult for two adults to sleep on. The neighbourhood is great, surrounded by plentiful restaurants and stores to browse. It's easily accessible to travel on public transit from her place to the downtown core, and we also didn't have trouble finding street parking without a permit. The only issue we had was that when we arrived, the key that was given to us was not the right one for the front door. Luckily there was an entrance through the back that we were able to access. I knew that Roberta was not in town, so she wasn't able to help us in person. For future reference, a suggestion would be to double check if the key works! Other then that, me and my family had a wonderful stay and you would too :)

Hi! I'm born and raised in the wonderful city of Toronto, though I very much appreciated the natural beauty of this great country. I love to travel and being outdoors.
