Peeter and Joan are great Airbnb Owners. They were quick to respond with any minor complaints that we had. They live next door, but they are very non-intrusive and were only over if there was an issue or a question that I had. You’re very friendly. They were very understanding while my wife and I figured out our next move regarding the wildfires. There was a bit of back-and-forth on our end as to whether we would extend our stay or move to an apartment. They applied no pressure on us to make a decision quickly.

Great home in an adorable community tucked away in Santa Rosa. Great host who made our stay even better. Close to everything yet in a great neighborhood with minimal traffic. I would definitely stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Gallery House. Peeter greeted us and made us feel so at home. He was helpful and generous with his time. I had come to Santa Rosa with my husband to do an Ironman triathlon. We were close enough to the athlete village to walk to get my race essentials and there were plenty of places near the house to eat and shop for food. We would love to go back another time to stay at the Gallery house.

Gallery House is in a charming older neighborhood that is centrally located. Like any house its age it has its quirks, but those are more than made up for by the location. The neighborhood is ideal for walking and during our month-long stay we were treated to hours of entertainment by a neighborhood mockingbird. You could not ask for a more helpful or personable host than Peeter. He was responsive to all our questions and concerns. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider using this property again.

Awesome place and a great central location! I loved the place and it was actually larger than I expected from the pictures. They were easy to communicate with and everything was as it was described if not better. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice quiet neighborhood but still want to be close to downtown. I would definitely stay here again!

Peeter and Joan are most gracious hosts. From the beginning I had all of my questions answered. I was looking for a place that I could call home for a couple of weeks. This home on the corner of Monroe and Fourteenth, in the McDonald Historic District, turned out to be just perfect. Upon my arrival Peeter greeted me. He immediately showed me around. I found the home to be bright and sunny. There were plenty of clean blankets, linens and towels provided. The main bedroom has a confortable full size bed, desk and clothing cabinet. The 2nd bedroom provides a fairly comfortable futon, cabinet and chair. Both bedrooms have closets. The Internet was strong and we had access to watch television and movies. I was happy to find the kitchen stocked nicely with the necessary utensils, dishes, cookware and appliances. It was most welcoming to find fresh orange juice, fresh ground coffee, apples and peppers for us to enjoy. The walls are decorated with artwork as well as several beautiful sculptures throughout. The home is furnished with an adequate amount of dining and living space to host an intimate gathering. My desire too was a place where I could take long walks and practice my photography. The surrounding streets are paved with sidewalks, which made it easy for a brisk walk, stroll or jog. Within a few blocks you will find a very nice neighborhood market, bakery and café. I quite enjoyed exploring much of the surrounding areas including the wonderfully curious Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery.

Retired 72-yr olds: one a freelance web designer/photographer, in lifetime partnership with land conservation consultant and creative dynamo, source of much of the art in Gallery House. If you're here for a bit, the chipping sound you may hear when the weather is right will be hammer & chisel on rock.
