This is Cricket, our three year old black lab. This property is pet friendly as long as they are well trained/behaved. Cricket is in training and she loves the dogs that have come to visit. The front door has a doggie door.Deck off the kitchen in the fall/winter seasons. See new photos with chairs and soon a patio table & 4 chairs will be put out for an outdoor eating area for summertime.

This is a great place to give your head & mind some rest and get away from the human race. You can use this place to enjoy the natural beauty of Montgomery County, i.e. fishing, water skiing, boating, hunting, canoeing, crystal digging and/or mountain biking.

This home has 3 porches, 2 covered. The front porch has a standard porch swing. The back porch has a outdoor table and chairs and chaise lounge chair. The first bedroom has a king size bed and dresser, the 2nd bedroom can double as a separate sitting area or bedroom. It has a full size sleeper sofa with a small standing cabinet to use as a dresser. There is plenty of closet space. There is an anteroom, which has a desk. The living room and kitchen are one large room. The living room has 2 couches and one chair. One couch is a little unconventional, it is a large bean bag couch. This home comes with satellite TV, Wi-Fi and a doggie door. Awesome location if you want to get away from the city. Very peaceful and Lisa was a great hostess and would stay again if we're in the area.

Quiet and peaceful, middle of the woods in the middle of the woods! The cabin is wide open with a great kitchen, tons of counter space, a large front porch, lots of chairs and 2 decks. Did I mention it was surrounded by woods? Very beautiful bathroom and convenient laundry area, new furniture and a pretty comfortable king size bed. We added to and compiled a folder of trails, and beautiful stuff in the kitchen drawer on the left. Check out the antique store in Mt. Ida, it's a good one.

The home was clean & very inviting. All the amenities you would need in a secluded setting with an amazing view of the stars on a clear night.

We booked this trip last minute, and Lisa's positive and professional demeanor was beyond expectation. The house was cute and secluded, and had a beautiful wood stove - which came in handy our last night of the trip, as the weather turned precipitous. I Highly recommend the location if your trip plans center around the ouachita national forest.

We went to Lisa's place for Thanksgiving weekend with our Lab so we could go hiking in the Oauchita National Forest and relax. The house was just as advertised and had plenty of room outside for our dog to run and play with Lisa's dog. The house had everything we needed except ESPN (we wanted to enjoy college rivalry weekend). When we asked Lisa about it, she immediately offered to have the satellite package upgraded - and she did! So, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - there are many trails within a 30 minute drive, a great grocery and a few restaurants in Mt. Ida (10-12 minutes away), canoeing nearby, and Lisa who saved the day. She is eager to help but gives you all the space you want.
